Favourite ready meals, anybody?

We have a COOK shop now a reasonable distance. They stock frozen meals that are excellent. Not cheap but actually better than eating out in some instances. Have veggie and vegan options. As for the desserts........

I like Morrisons Tastes of the World range. The bare burrito bowl is my favourite and easy for me to prepare when Mr. B is out.

I too like Charlie Bigham pies but they've shot up to £9, quite expensive.

However my favourite if I don't want to cook is fish fingers and crinkle cut oven chips. Cook together in oven. No work involved.

Anything from the Waitrose Levantine Table range is good, although the mains aren’t really big enough to serve two! Also love the M&S £12 Gastropub Dine in range, especially chicken parmigiana ?

Tesco make an excellent Chicken Byriani, comes complete with rice, I keep 2 in the freezer ‘just in case’.

M&S veggie lasagne is delicious. Aldi fish pie is also good.

Prentice. I also love M&S sweet and sour chicken too, haven’t found another to match it. Also like their vegetable lasagne.

We had an excellent frozen fish pie from Waitrose this week. I’ve really gone off fish in recent years but this wasn’t too ‘fishy’ tasting and was beautifully creamy with lovely mash.

When I lived in UK I loved M&S Cumberland pie. Don't know if they still do it.

Waitrose has recently;y started to sell their own Indian meals and the latest I had was Keralan Inspired Chicken Biryani which was very tasty and only 345 calories.

I also like macaroni cheese. These dishes are handy when I cannot be bothered to cook anything from scratch.

I do not like sweet and sour anything.

Yes, they do, DH bought himself one last week.

Having spent time in Singapore, DH does like Nasi Goreng and used to make a good version himself.

No worthy comment from me, at times ready meals are a wonderful thing.My favourite one is by M&S and I find it delicious, it is sweet and sour chicken in batter with egg fried rice and peas.I do confess I could eat this several times a week but of course I do not.
