Full English anyone?

I will contribute Stornaway black pudding, also kippers for those who like them. Please bake them in foil in the aga so that the smell doesn’t annoy those who are not partial. I will poach my egg if I may.

Bacon, eggs and baked beans after Mass on Sunday mornings.

Otherwise, toast with marmelade and coffee, or yougurt on weekdays. Porridge when I am seriously trying to put on weight.

I’m not a morning person so breakfast doesn’t much interest me. I have the same thing every day, a Weetabix and two cups of a coffee. The supermarket sent me Weetabix Protein last week. It’s like eating cereal with gravel in it. ?

Porridge for me, but I do enjoy a full English when we stay in a B and B.

Once a week I cook a full English. Sausage, bacon, hash brown, scrambled egg, baked beans and toast. Sometimes I am very indulgent and have a fishcake too. I am not as restrained as most on GN. I do cook in oven though so not fried.

Avocado mashed on toast with poached eggs on the top is my favourite, or a muffin with smoked salmon and poached eggs on top .... yum

Usual a cup of coffee, occasionally a banana if there's one in the fruit bowl.

Would like poached eggs on toast, but cannot face the hassle/mess of making them first at 6.30am.
Couldn't stomach a full fry up either, would weigh heavy all day.

I agree with missdeke and sodapop. Baked beans belong on top of toast or a Scotch pie.
I’d usually have toasted Warburton’s seeded batch with banana and honey.

Some soft fruits, fat free plain yoghurt and a sprinkling of homemade granola (which is lovely if I do say so myself!) I’m never hungry in the mornings and eat because I should.

My family think that I am strange. My breakfast consists of a large bowl of citrus fruits, every day. I never want anything else.
When on holiday, though, I start off with my citrus, but can happily eat a full English afterwards. I rarely eat bacon, sausages or black pudding at home.

I love kedgeree as well pantglas, don't see it so much nowadays.

I agree missdeke no baked beans, ruins a good breakfast. Definitely fresh tomatoes as well not tinned.

Cannot remember when I last had a fill English.
I have porridge, half milk half water with prunes or raisins made overnight ready to microwave in the morning or sometimes if my legs are not too stiff, toast and Marmite.

I'm the queen of breakfasts and eat a big one every single day!

Always savoury, no fruit, cereal or bread.

Various combinations of: eggs, tomatoes, spinach, mushrooms, smoked salmon, avocado, cheese, ham, marinated tofu, very occasionally crispy bacon, and proper coffee ??

A cup of tea and a slice of brown toast, I couldn't eat a big breakfast but come lunchtime then I could manage it lol

I don't eat till lunch time and find I don't want breakfast now. But actually reading some of these posts reminds me how delicious they can be!

Porridge made with skimmed milk with banana on top through the week. Boiled eggs and brown toast at weekends. I don’t know why as weekends are much the same as weekdays when you are retired. I did use to like the choices in hotel breakfast buffets but I suppose that’s a thing of the past now.

It’s usually 2 cold hard boiled eggs with 30g of cheese, preferably Gouda or cambazola, and to ring changes 20g of nuts instead of eggs. Yummy.

OOOHHH we love a full english at any time of the day.
We don`t like potatoes with it though.
We have also replaced a sunday roast with one and it tasted so much better strangly.

Oh yuk, the thought of a fried breakfast turns my stomach. Porridge and fresh fruit for me. Avo on toast for lunch today, yummy.

Lovely full English! We sometimes have it for our tea (evening meal) especially if I can’t get enthusiastic about anything different.

I love a Full English, in my case no bacon and vegerian sausage and definitely hash browns. My late husband ate Laverbread . Horrible slimy stuff but he liked it. Nowadays I usually have just toast and marmalade- lots of butter of course - or porridge with cream and demerara sugar on top. I don't think this falls into the category of healthy eating which we are told to obey but only of course if we are overweight.

Porridge made with half milk and half water, a few blueberries on top, no sugar, honey etc.
Scrambled eggs, usually two, no milk or butter and no toast.

Avocado slices with a poached egg on top, sprinkled with black pepper........yum!
