At a tangent- the history of chocolate is fascinating- especially the links with the temperance movement and Quakers. One of our neighbours was one of the Cadburys- very interesting and simple, down to earth woman, and a Quaker. Suchard here in Switzerland was also linked to the temperance movement, and that wonderful breed of 'paternalistic' employers, who believed it was their duty to provide employment, and also housing with gardens to grow food, medical services and education.
Of course now all this has gone, and profits is the only reason left.
