I'm amazed that anyone questions the idea of royal children going to private school. We don't question the fact that the royals have their own private doctors or private planes, or wear crowns and expect people to bow and curtsey to them. That's what you get with a monarchy. The UK is obsessed with class. I think private schools are socially divisive and perpetuate inequality but they're not going to be abolished any time soon so I may as well step down from my soapbox. But I do object to the fact that private schools are unfairly advantaged as charities. They started out as philanthropic institutions to educate the poor but now serve the interests of the wealthy. Their charitable tax status is no longer defensible.
What did you you think you would have by your current age that you don't?
