Hello! The trees are up, the mantle dressed, wreath hung, and the santons arranged in their very French stable. My late DM collected these on many trips to Provence and every year I arrange them with the odd salty tear.
My caring skills are still being fully stretched. Cellulitis hit me last night with a thwack but I'm now staggering around organising drugs and phone consultations with the GP for both myself and Mr M, who seems no better. I tried being nice to him yesterday and he asked me why I was acting peculiar so today I'm back in Colonel Mustard Mode.
We get lots of dragonflies bellypoppers here because there are quite a few ponds around. Every summer we get the occasional stray one flie into the kitchen and then get stuck in the lantern light over the kitchen table. They sound like small helicopters. When DDs were toddlers one came running to tell me that there was a bellypopper in the kitchen, and the name stuck.
I shall now take the beagle for her fresh air and stuff!
Infuriated by this man's attitude
Venezuela earthquakes, is £2million all the UK can afford to send for the relief effort?
I miss the woman my daughter was before she lost her husband

That is so sweet.
