Doing silly walks with my grandchildren- one day I may grow -up!

catching the bus to visit my grandchildren.i usually take the car but have just received my bus pass.it reminds me of my youth,hopping on and of busses

Mixing with younger people always helps.

Well since there's not much I can't do now that I couldn't do when younger, but I'm definitely wiser, it doesn't really affect me.

Watching my grandchildren interact with each other and include me in their play as if I am one of their peers not an old lady!!

I love the round trampoline swings that you can lie back in and look at the clouds. I find this so relaxing - doing this makes me feel young. Having a grandchild in there also helps.

Travelling to new places and spending time with younger people. Very easy to get into a boring routine and make excuses not to try new things. Not dead yet!

Most of my favourite reggae artists have now died; although I am lucky to have a 70's jukebox that still plays my old vinyl's. Occasionally a real Jamaican musical treasure will come to England and perform at a few venues and me and my hubby always make an effort to go and watch these live performances. This is when I truly feel young again. It takes me to a world of memories; both good and bad; as all life experiences shape us into the people we are today. Our children and grandchildren can sing most of the words to the golden oldies we play in our house and although those moments are very special to us. The live performances that we attend; are when we are really transported back into a time when the world was more peaceful; life less stressful and when communities looked out for each other. I suddenly become my younger self and find I am reigniting my old values & beliefs; my passions and my hopes for a better world. It always makes me smile when I leave; as I know I can and will change for the better and remember who I really am. This is what keeps me young.

My husband here's nine years younger than me

Music takes me straight back to how I felt then, especially songs I liked but had forgotten in the intervening years. The other thing is whizzing downhill on my bike, whoosh, that's a thing I've always enjoyed .

The young boy who served me at my local cinema when I asked for a pensioners ticket for the Downton Abbey film & he said to me 'you must be retired to have that ticket' !!!!

When I go out with the girls from work they are much younger than me but always ask me to come out I love it Im the quiet one just observing!
