Beautiful evening clouds

Yes, beautiful.
I'm lucky that I live in the countryside and face the right way to see many beautiful sunsets, but that one is particularly good.

It's also reassuring that i am not alone in appreciating such things. My OH just doesn't 'get' it.

That’s a great photo of a mackerel sky. We have been having those here for several weeks and they are beautiful.

That's beautiful

I don’t know about clouds but I find these lines all over the sky this afternoon really weird. My flight radar doesn’t pick up any planes.

I am so glad we live in a country that has different sorts of clouds most days some of thr formations are so beautiful. Thank you for posting that wonderful photograph.

What a beautiful sunset CarrotTop. We have seen some lovely ones too in our area. In fact the previous owner of our house refused to have the bathroom window frosted as she loved to lie in the bath and watch the sunset. Your photo reminded me that I have too often taken these beautiful sights for granted and must allow more time to”stand and stare”. ( lying in the bath is not an option!)

The joys of countryside living, naked cloud watching and all! That's a spectacular photo. I can spend hours cloud gazing by day and start gazing by night and never close my bedroom curtains. Thank you for sharing your lovely picture.

Being out in the sticks, we get a lot of good sunsets, but this one is the best we've seen in 20 years. DH came haring into the shower room, calling me to look-look-look! I followed him to the deck and stood gawping, then ran for my camera. It was a few minutes before I realised I was stark naked! (It's OK, we're only overlooked by one house and they're night birds, so I doubt whether anyone was driven half insane with uncontrollable lust...)
