More creative writing from someone who pretends they live with a couple of famous people. It’s bizarre behaviour from adults.
Do You Have Any Strange Memories?
I've recently found a new respect for Megan Markel.
What has she done? She married a Prince and discovered the reality of her new married life wasn't as wonderful as it was cracked up to be.
She 'threw her toys from her pram' and persuaded her feckless husband to take her home to America, but found life was no better.
But instead of filing for divorce as many show-biz people do she set about trying to make a living for their growing family in the only way she knew how - by using the media to sell herself. Netflix and such didn't work and neither has her attempt to sell her jams, candles, sprinkles (and so on).
But she's tried, really tried.
What has he done?
Brought her back to Britain .................... Ooooh dear.

WeirdoAgain- I have said for years Meghan emotionally abuses Harry and coercively controls him. If he treated her like she treats him there would have been uproar years ago. She seems to have a pattern of only keeping people in her life until they are no longer useful to her and then they are discarded.
Happens all the time BlessedArt. 'Details' of GN posters lives are often invented to fit a respondents point of view or personal agenda.
Well when you don’t know a person and they are famous apparently it’s entirely acceptable in the Mumsnet/Gransnet universe to pretend to know them on a personal level and invent details of their married life. I clearly missed the memo about mandatory creative writing sessions
.
Some of these comments are inventing entirely fictional or hidden motives, thoughts and actions, for a couple they've never even met.
I suppose that's the art of gossip - invent a theory, attach it to someone, and then invite approval or disapproval of that person based on the invented theory about their actions or motives.
The irony is that, occasionally, the truth behind a particular person's actions becomes public knowledge - and it turns out to be utterly mundane or prosaic... leaving the 'red-satin' gossip looking completely over-dressed and out of place.
Their dynamic is definitely strange.
My guess is that Meghan would not have been interested in Harry without the title.
I also think they must be very thick skinned to be trying to make a life back in the UK when they are so unpopular.
But then, where else can they go?
It must really hurt being so publicly ignored by the RF.
While I'll never be Harry's biggest fan - although he can be genuinely lovely - I think Migraine is abusing him, emotionally, verbally and possibly physically. Some of the bruises and swelling we've seen him with look like domestic abuse to me.
Sometimes he looks at her like he absolutely worships her; other times he looks utterly scared of her.
As far as I'm concerned, Harry made one HUGE mistake marrying that self-obsessed woman. He can come back to England if he wants, but I really do believe she's nothing but sheer evil, and she's using him in any way she can for her own sake, and then will dump him at the first chance she gets when she's finished with him.
I’m sure they’ll head back to USA to ‘spend Christmas with Doria’
But what a missed photo opportunity! A cameraman just happening to be there, of course.
The Christmas Day stroll to church, Meg in a fake furry hat, the Sandringham Christmas Tree, probably with back-of-the-head shots of Archie and Lilibet hanging baubles on, the log fires, the fake Hollywood snow…..

Boomer1947 I think you will find that it was Diana who was the serial adultdress who manipulated the press and most of the public she was the innocent victim.
Never have understood the public's image of Diana as some sort of innocent.
Mind, you - personally, I do not care one iota for any of them.
It really is hard to image them doing the Christmas morning walk...awkward and embarrassing for all.
They really have burnt their bridges.

I think Christmas at Sandringham for the Sussexes would mean W&C deciding to spend it with the Middletons.
Difficult call for the King.
I’m sure they’ll head back to USA to ‘spend Christmas with Doria’, to spare themselves the embarrassment of not being invited to Sandringham.

Thanks for some reality and common sense, butterandjam.
Yes, a little grounding among the rumour and speculation, thanks butterandjam.
I don't take much notice of what H & M get up but I remember the interview they gave to the BBC news on their engagement. Harry said something along the lines of being happy because he had found someone who knew what his job entailed and was prepared to work alongside him. It would seem that she found the reality of being a "working royal" very different to what she imagined and they've spent the following years trying to work out what to do.
Thanks for some reality and common sense, butterandjam.

They were together for about 8 years before they got engaged crazyH so it's hardly credible to say she and her mother pursued him.
iirc Crazy H is American.
She's swallowed The Crown on Netflix, hook line and sinker , probably thinks its a history documentary.
The Crown invented and perpetrated that fantasy of the Middletons pursuing William.
There was nothing on show under the "see- through dress".... except black pants and bandeau.
"Changing university " is a complete red herring. Kate held two offers. Holding offers from two universities is a normal tactic in the UCAS application system every UK student applies through.
Kate and William both had a "gap year". Very common in UK. So did my kids and many of their student friends.
"But he would have been pursued by a fair number of girls at the time. He chose Kate, and as far as I can see he chose well."
Well said. Yes and yes.

Smileless - she and her mother pursued William, changed University, tempted him with that see-through dress at the fashion show - and William took the bait.
Meghan and Harry are constantly being picked on - as fas I know and read, it was Harry who pursued Meghan - she is an independent woman and would have been very successful in her own right.
Not sure about the ‘being pursued’ bit. Though tbh didn’t we or our DHs pursue each other once. Is all part of the mating game, and has been thus since year dot. And I suppose the fact that William was a prince did help. But he would have been pursued by a fair number of girls at the time. He chose Kate, and as far as I can see he chose well.

Why do you think Catherine's ambitious crazyH?
I’ll be honest, and I have no really strong feeling for any of the current RF, I do think both W&C are pretty ambitious.
I think Camilla should have married (been allowed) Charles first time around and I felt at the time so sorry for both Diana and Camilla’s husband.
Diana and Charles were not in any way compatible and that whole marriage was a toxic and damaging (imho)
I do think, however, W&C seem pretty much compatible and both appear to have grown very well into their roles.
I think Camilla should have married (been allowed) Charles first time around and I felt at the time so sorry for both Diana and Camilla’s husband.
King Harald of Norway, who died at the end of August, waited 9 years to marry Sonja - clearly the woman he wanted as his wife.
The delay was largely caused by his father, Olav V, refusing to consent to him marrying a 'commoner'. But he was determined.
When I worked there, he was always spoken of with great affection; I wonder if that strength of character might have been part of the reason?
Charles, by comparison, seemed at the time rather self-indulgent though I guess he's mellowed somewhat now.
I agree, he should never have married Diana, it seems he had little genuine affection for her.
I think Christmas at Sandringham for the Sussexes would mean W&C deciding to spend it with the Middletons.

It seems to be that they have returned to reignite press and public interest in their connections. Their only capital is their link to the Royal family and it's fast waning. Christmas at Sandringham wouldn't go amiss, charades at Balmoral with a few snaps of their children on Grandpa's knee would all help with the brand.

I wonder how people would describe your meeting with your partner, if they thought it worth talking about.
Considering how H & M have treated the RF Ladyleftfieldlover I think their restraint is commendable.

And any wife worth her salt would have been trying to help and support her ‘emotionally damaged’ husband.
Instead she has nurtured it for her own ends, instead of allowing him to move on from the very real tragic events when he was growing up.
How could you know the dynamics of anyone’s marriage without having lived with them?
We can’t even truly know our neighbors at-home dynamics, yet we can make believe like we know people who we see on the tele and read about online? It’s such a personal comment to make about people you don’t know.
Only her husband is in a position to judge the kind of wife she is. It’s his marriage.
