Rain at last 😄

The slightest drizzle which has barely wetted the leaves. Windy though. I’m taking the opportunity whilst it is cloudy to plant a Phormium in a pot in the front garden, as it has had a bit of a re-vamp, the phormium and sempervivums are last to be planted.

South Wales, nothing yet but forecast for lunchtime. It was very windy last evening but this morning the wind has dropped and skies are blue.

Short heavy shower here in Hertfordshire. Now stopped and blue sky appearing.

Patio was wet here near Bristol so I assume it rained during the night. Missed it!

Rained all night here in Edinburgh and lightening and further showers due. Am really enjoying the fresher air.

Yes, rain. It would come today when DH and I are going on an outing to the Tanfield Railway. Ah well, the garden will appreciate it.

A bit of spitting here, nothing significant in my neck of the woods, wedged between The Surrey Hills and The South Downs. Having been out to get the papers it feels altogether fresher. I'm towel washing this morning, family have been here, so they'll go out later when it's forecast to be hotter. O/H would like it to rain and rain for the garden.

Nothing here is East Yorkshire despite being promised. Really disappointed.

Lovely refreshing rain here on the Oldham edge of the Pennines. My garden and lawn are lapping it up 🪴🪴

Puddles on the patio here in Caerphilly and a puddle on the tiled kitchen floor where I forgot to pull the velux window closed a little.

None in London but there is a breeze, so my clothes will dry quickly. I have been sunbathing.
