I’ve read putting socks in the fridge before bedtime is a good way to help with sleep.

I will report back if it worked.

PS clean new socks

I also heard of men putting underwear in the fridge. No idea if that's true and I've never done it. Not likely to either.

I don't wear socks in bed but will be interested in the results of your experiment.

I put our pillowcases in the freezer for a couple of hours before bed.

I put a couple of drinking glasses in the fridge and replace them when I take one out - we have plenty of glasses but cannot keep up with ice cube freezing so cold glasses helps.

Do they come out crispy? 😂

I’ve heard that on YouTube about wearing socks in bed to help with sleep. Personally I can’t bare anything on my feet in bed, even if it’s freezing.

In the "olden days" (early 1970s) when female employees were not allowed bare legs in the office in our London government office, we used to keep multi packs of our tights in the kitchen fridge when it was very hot and change into them every couple of hours. The cooling effect only lasted for a short while, but it was bliss while it did!!!

When I put away my winter woolies and iron my cotton summer clothes I give up socks for the next 5 months. Bare feet are one of the joys of summer

Sadly I had to take my socks off after 5 mins as my feet heated up instead of cooling down.

Back to the drawing board.
