Lots of speculation here as to how he got his shiner. Did some one give him a smack in the face ? Must have been a left hander . Not that it matters but many would have liked to ! They don’t like him much here.

AMW isn’t the only man named in the Epstein files. We hear more about him because he’s the king’s brother
His behaviour as trade envoy is more likely to result in criminal charges

Crikey AuntieE. Haven't heard that one before. Almost swords at dawn.

I tend to agree with Jachuss. I'm not excusing him, I just wonder where the rest of the male abusers are and why they haven't been named and shamed too.
He wasn't the only one but he's carrying the can ......

Progressively they have been. Many have left their jobs, and been publicly exposed. We hear most about the British abusers, but others are also being held to account.

I do think he deserves a good slap though!

😆😆

I seem to remember him getting a right good one from one of the Spanish princesses when they were all in their twenties, or thereabouts.

She objected to the language he had used to her, saying that she did not know whether it was fitting for the Duke of York to use, but she did know that it was not what an Infanta of Spain was accustomed to hearing!

He attempted to hit her back, and was forcibly restrained by Willem Alexander of the Netherlands, and if I remember rightly, Prince Ali of Jordan.

Iam64 I quite agree. This is a girl who was threatened with harm to her brother if she didn’t do what Epstein wanted. She was 17 when Andrew slept with her, about the age of one of his daughters.

Andrew was no scapegoat. (A scapegoat for who, anyway?)

Time to leave the poor man alone, she was an overage call girl, no trial, no worse than many other men, he was a scapegoat

Victim blaming at its best there. She was exploited by men after being sexually abused and neglected as a child

No trial but a hush payment of millions. No worse than many other men is no defence

AMW is currently being investigated for misconduct in public office

Seemongly a known about mefical condition

In his case

My neighbour has recently had a mark on his face which looked similar. I his case it was caused by a small basal cell carcinoma which required treatment with a chemotherapy ointment which had to be applied to the skin around it. The mark was very noticeable but has now almost disappeared.

(Being charitable) it is quite possibly because he is on blood thinners, Paw used to come up with some shockers, although never on his face, but the slightest bump could leave black bruises on his hands and arms.

Iam64 Sun 07-Jun-26 18:35:56

It a big bruise. He doesn’t drink (allegedly 🌞) otherwise I’d think he might have overdone it as a result of the stress he’s living with
To be charitable, he’s often seen out riding, it’s a dangerous if glorious activity. A fall or some horse bashing Andrew’s face. Or a dog . So far as I know he has his mothers little corgies so unlikely, a big daft soft over affectionate Labrador could cause a big bruise out of our joy and excitement

Seen it online.Look up Andrew Mountbatten Windsors bruise. What a whopper!

Whingey Sun 07-Jun-26 18:09:08

Any photos available?

I don’t think many people do, Charleygirl5. I have family experience of his boorishness even as a child.

Charleygirl5 Sun 07-Jun-26 15:58:06

Suedonim unlike us, he has staff to buy a loaf of bread. I doubt if he has been inside a supermarket and as for his own kitchen, I would think he may need a map or physical help to find it. I also doubt if he knows how to boil a kettle, never mind prepare a simple meal.

You may all have gathered I don't like e the man.

SueDonim Sun 07-Jun-26 13:41:37

Maybe an angry shopper whopped him in the eye with a wire basket, Basgetti!. grin

Cossy Sun 07-Jun-26 13:33:47

Also, why does Andrew “need” 5 bedrooms, two bathrooms and some cottages plus two live out staff, valet and chef? When was the last time this vile odious man did a decent days work??

Basgetti Sun 07-Jun-26 13:25:02

Shopper? Whopper!

Basgetti Sun 07-Jun-26 13:19:11

Only just seen this. That is a shopper. Looks more like the result of a fall, unfortunately.
Opposed to violence but trying to quiet the little voice saying he deserves a bloody slap.

SueDonim Sun 07-Jun-26 12:29:35

Helterskelter. 🤣

I would happily give him a southpaw. I supose the staff stay there because there is no other work around.

"Merlotgran" I doubt if Sarah's friends noticed she was spending £2K on nightly accommodation. No wonder she has little or no money. She is in a different league to me. I use a 4 letter word she has never heard of, "save". I apologise for lowering the tone.

How very dare you 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You’ve quite put me orf my caviar and champagne breakfast 🙄🙄

HelterSkelter1 Sun 07-Jun-26 08:01:14

I expect he would certainly remember getting pizzicato in Pizza Express!!

SueDonim Sat 06-Jun-26 23:33:45

HelterSkelter1

PS I love the word Pizzicato.

Not Pizza Express? grin
