I also loved Aqua Manda and there was one in an apple shaped bottle . Does anyone remember using Shaders and Toners just to pep up your hair colour for a couple of washes ?

Morny Sandalwood soap.
I have a third of a bottle of 4711 in my bathroom. I’ve had it far too long for it to be wearable, but I love the bottle, and the colour of the box fits in with the grey and teal colour scheme!

I still use Ponds Cold Cream, great stuff and my DD brings home large jars of it from America. Only smaller sizes here.
Still available of course, is Vaseline and I use lots of it on my face, it removes waterproof mascara very well and my skin is in good nick.

Anyone remember Carmeline? Used for my stage makeup and I have a new batch from eBay.

Going back a thousand years, Mac Factor had a black mascara in I think a small blue tube. As it had no inner brush like today, I could ladle it on the accompanying separate brush and get a really thick effect. Really mourned that when it was discontinued.

Tabu anyone? Quite a musky smell.

I liked tabu, also just musk, and the body shops musk oil.

Ponds cold cream and Drene shampoo. My mother always used Ponds cold cream and her skin was lovely all her life. Drene came in little sachets. Also French's lemon cream shampoo in a tub

There's a Constance Caroll lipstick i had years ago, which i can't find, even though ebay sells a huge amout of Constance C. items.

I just can't remember the name of the shade for the life of me.

I particularly liked AM as it had a fresh herby smell and I have never found any other perfume that smelt anything like it. Also it one of the few perfumes that didn't react with my skin.

I had some as a gift at Christmas as an adolescent and fell asleep holding the heavy circular ball of scent.

I used to love those nail polishes with elegant screw tops - Cutex?
Possibly Joan Collin's polishes replicate that fifties style.

Very popular in the 1960's and then it vanished. Very tangerine scented - could be a wee bit overpowering but I stuck with it until it just died out.

The lovely "baby" smell has gone.

As a hard up student a very long time ago there was a lipstick everyone wanted called Jaune Rose, it went on rose pink but faded to a long lasting yellowish pink stain. It was expensive but different so we all knew when someone had 'indulged' !

Aqua manda and I was bought a little lemon soap when I was younger it was from Bromley I loved it.

Definitely Camay soap !

Linco-lin beer shampoo. It came in a small yellow barrel.

In the late 60s my sister-in-law-to-be bought me a bottle of Yardley Caprice. I adored it until I wore it to college one day. Another student walked into the room and said, “What’s that smell? It’s like window cleaner!” I was devastated! 😧

Wizened where did you manage to buy TCP? I cannot find anyone who sells it. I love the smell. It reminds me of scraped knees and Mum sitting me on the draining board to wash my wounds and dabbing on the stinging TCP. Best thing for mossie bites and cleaning up the skin scrapes that are a constant part of my life as an octogenarian with skin that tears like tissue paper.

I loved two perfumes that I have not smelt in years , Ma Griffe and Gin Fizz.
