Yes, probably some individual who had knowledge of their wrongdoings and was complicit but has kept quiet.

To be honest having to spend anytime in the Middle East, whether Israel, Syria, Saudi Arabia or the Arab Emirates would be my idea of hell on earth, whether my air fare ( and accommodation) was paid by someone else or not.

Yes BlueBelle I completely agree. Whilst I do have some sympathy for his daughters because it most likely is causing them some genuine distress now, I don't believe they are squeaky clean. It seems they have been quite happy to reap the benefits of their parents' dubious connections, although as you say, I don't believe they were party to the tangled web that was woven - outsiders catching a few tasty titbits probably.

Yes Eugenie was in Dubai last week in her role as Director of some fancy-shmancy art gallery. I don't knw whether she's still there.

Maybe Ferguson's massively wealthy son-in-law Count Eduardo whatever his name is has given her some air miles.

I usually start off threads in a funny or lighthearted way and then watch them morph into the seriousness and intensity of a Royal Academy lecture!

Dubai is alright. Very friendly people,too. I’m sure Andy would fit in there and he could just disappear in a puff of sand.

Am afraid the uber rich don’t view being hard up the same as the rest of us. Fergie probably feels that not being able to buy as many individually designed clothes, shoes and handbags is being poor, as well as having to dumb down to a car that isn’t chauffeur driven.
As for being homeless she will be doing a very different kind of couch surfing, calling in favours from wealthy friends who will let her stay in their luxury penthouse flat whilst they are holidaying on a yacht etc.

It's not a very happy life though. I bet she'd rather just be content somewhere and with family and friends - like us really.

She knows a huge amount about the RF from before Diana married, and after that and she appears to have a certain charm.

I don't know how much she knew/ was complicit in/ gained from past behaviours, but these latest revelations have definitely caused a very significant change in circumstances in a time when many of us are enjoying retirement, grandchildren, and relaxation.
However her situation seems more comfortable than that of her ex husband right now.
