I cut into it today and made tomato and Marmite sandwiches for lunch. They were lovely. Another portion will be baked as one of the veg with tonight’s meal and there will still be half left.
One advantage of a heritage variety is that you can save the seeds knowing that they will come true, unlike hybrids. This is quite a saving when hybrid varieties cost £3-£4 a packet and you only get 6 seeds!
