I never watch it personally. Hubbie will watch if England are playing, but my niece's husband are, really into it

Not remotely interested in it, thankfully husband doesn’t want to watch it either.

I couldn't care less. Obviously I'd be pleased if England wins, but I won't lose sleep otherwise. I'll be more pleased when it's all over (ho ho) and the TV schedules go back to normal.

I have grown up in and around football, all of our AC and GC will be watching as will DH.

I have been told not to watch as whenever I leave the room England have scored in this tournament 🤣⚽️

A football match has never been watched in my home. My DH loathed it even more than I do. Unfortunately, as England won and are in the final, I will be stuck with it this weekend as my boys will be here. When they have made the effort to visit from long distances to take me out for my birthday, I won’t deny them their pleasure. Won’t be in the same room though!

Yes me! Although I float alone, an island surrounded by men, otherwise known as family members, who keep mistaking me for someone who gives a damn as to how the English football team are doing, I mean win or lose it ain't going to change my life, or theirs, Maybe it's because I perceive footballers to be massively overpaid for what they do!

I'm just bad, I admit it, I'll skulk off and write a 100 lines, "I must try to do my best to appreciate our national team, mea culpa!"

Just to be even handed I'm not keen on tennis either, and that being aired in the afternoon is responsible for me missing my daily fix of Escape to the Country. Have the BBC no shame

yes.yes,yes and yes again. I am not intersted in Wimbledon, te tour de France. cricket or the Olympics. I would rather go for a good long walk.

For me sport has always been something you do, not something you watch.

I also have no interest. Fortunately I live alone so have managed to avoid all TV coverage of matches. I shall be glad when it is all over.

I agree with M0nica, sport is for doing, not watching. On the rare occasions I have seen football on the television it has looked tedious.

To say football is overrated is an understatement supreme.
Mind you, in the next life I'd quite like to come back as a football "Pundit" - there's scores of retired footballers (who were only ever mediocre in their heyday) lolling around in bad golfing sweaters, pontificating ad nauseam, saying things like "well it's a game of two halves" AND getting paid squillions!

It's a good job we don't all like the same things. I'm sure many of those who enjoy watching sports would find things like soap operas or romcoms extremely tedious. Plenty of other channels you can watch.

Have no interest whatsoever in football except at the grass roots level my GS plays. Tennis has always left me cold - all that grunting and groaning. I like a bit of cricket, and golf.

Not a huge football fan but I've seen the last couple of England's matches. I think it's lovely to see people being happy . I've seen a lot of footage on social media with fabulous scenes of fans from all nations generally having great fun together. The Dutch fans have been amazing to watch. Brilliant clip of hundreds of folk clad in orange, singing Hey Jude to 4 English fans. Also a German police man, bearing a similarity to Gareth Southgate, gets serenaded by English fans.

It's just nice to see people having a good time. And try as they might. MSM hasn't been able to find a great deal of hooliganism.

Some may say it's over rated but it's clearly not to the clubs and fans. These young players earn upwards of 500 grand a week. I think Mbappe, the French player is on a million a week.

It's a huge world wide sport.

And fingers crossed for England

Not at all interested in the football, or the tennis or cycling either.
May watch some of the Olympics, as that is more varied and I can pick and choose.
Apart from that, no sport will be watched in this house until the rugby season starts, and I shall actually be there to watch it live wielding my Northampton Saints season ticket - and we are the Champions!

Not a great lover of watching sports of any kind. Football leaves me cold.
