I do nearly all my shopping online too and agree with the OP. Of course most can be deleted but Amazon emails, to name one, don’t say explicitly what the order is, just give the order no, wh is even more annoying. Also the forest of them obscures other messages. But only once a year and I’m pretty well through now.
Yes, it is really annoying when couriers' emails don't make is clear whom the order is from so you have no idea what is coming.
Often if you order a few things from Amazon at the same time there is only one of them shown in the follow-up emails so you can't be sure how many things are actually on their way.
The same is true of plant nurseries who send part orders so it isn't easy to keep track of exactly what is still outstanding.
