For all the years I have read and supported other GM friends who have gone down this road, I could only imagine what this would feel like, that day has sadly arrived for us now. At this stage it is all so surreal and we will somehow, just have to get on with whatever coping strategies are needed.

So sorry you have this to deal with, Kalu. Such a shock, and almost too much to take in. Thought and prayers for all the family.

Cornergran you are very kind. I'm keeping an eye on the sickness and diarrhea. I think I overdid food yesterday and that caused today's upset. I had to cancel the art class though which was annoying. It has gone round the entire family! It's been rife at dgs1's nursery and many children in my staff have been affected. I've just been unlucky that it's lasted a bit longer than expected.
