Do you wear a practical pinny about the house?

I have a co-ordination disorder (dyspraxia) and am visually impaired so things can get a bit messy! I’ve taken to wearing an apron about the house just as my mother did. It seems to be unusual to do so round here so I’m wondering if I am really alone in this?

I have always worn an apron for housework and when the children were small. At present I have a red one with a wine message on!
My next door neighbour did ask if I ever took it off, oh dear

I have lots of aprons .

I wear them for cooking , gardening and artwork .
