Precious love rose. Planted in memory of my son.
When I go into a church I take pictures of the flowers which are usually nicely done. The statues, murals and furnishings are permanent but the flowers are transient. These aren't particularly striking but I am trying help this thread find its rightful place in the Active list.
Just testing with a photo from yesterday to see why pictures on this thread aren't always appearing at the top of the active board when posted.
I think this might be my last rose this summer.

Love the purple geranium (cranesbill) Aldom. Do you know the variety? Apart from Rozane all my geraniums are mostly over. Could do with that splash of colour in the autumn.
We've just seen a white deer but it ran off before we got near enough to get a pic (bloody jetskiers) so you'll have to make do with my pic of my view yesterday whilst lying back on my patio enjoying the sun. (The toes are mine.)

Couldn’t resist a quick coffee stop in Alnmouth on our way back from Scotland yesterday. Seeing the sea is always a treat, even if only briefly on an overcast afternoon!
