H&M may be suing the DM for printing the letter but old Thomas is going to testify against them for the DM. This marriage has just brought so much trouble to the Royal Family's doorstep. Piers Morgan is so right on this.

You have to understand how the press works. Time and time again I’ve heard the journos say it’s not all one way traffic. It was said about Diana many times and about celebs too. They can’t just use the press when it suits them. PM is obviously on a mission as he’s smarting over Meghan ghosting him after she met Harry. Yes he may have it in for her but from his point of view he has cause. It’s a game of you scratch my back..,,,,,,,

When Tiger Woods was having all his affairs, apparently it was all done openly and the press knew. At the time he was the biggest sportsman on the planet with a spotless reputation. The reason he wasn’t splashed all over the front pages is because deals would be made eg he would do an exclusive two page spread for Men’s Health or suchlike, which would be owned by the same news outlet. This is how it works. Once you enter into this ‘agreement’ with the press it’s a dangerous game. The minute you try and use them and don’t reciprocate they will go all out on you. You become fair game. This is what’s going on with PM and now M is suing the DM there’ll be no let up.

I agree with you Chestnut, the marriage of H+M certainly has brought discord to the Royal family. Did Piers Morgan say this would happen?

Tickingbird, do you think Piers Morgan is getting ‘revenge’ for Meghan’s previous behaviour towards him? Is that what’s going on now?

I’m not sure I’d class it as revenge but as we all know be careful who you upset on the way up as you’ll meet them again on the way down - or words to that effect.

Maddyone I can't remember what PM said at the time of the marriage but I think he was one of the first to express doubts. Most people wished the couple good luck on their marriage and the media was very positive in those early days. I know some people had serious doubts as soon as the marriage was announced, but not sure if PM was one of them.
