Why should we believe ZELO STREET any more than we should believe anything else that is written about H+M? It’s all journalism after all. The royals do have links to the press and do have staff who provide leaks. I’ve never heard of Zelo Street before, why would I regard what’s been written in that publication/website as being more reliable than anything else that’s been written?

Yesterday there was some quite vigorous debate on this topic but now it’s becoming a little silly so I think I’ll withdraw for the time being and wait and hear the outcome of tomorrow’s Royal summit!

Don't people understand it's not a conspiracy theory it is about taking advantage of the moment and turning something from a relatively unimportant incident in the RF into a major news item, whilst conveniently forgetting about another family matter that probably involved a lot of people with influence. I suppose it indicates what you can convince people matters most and sex trafficking and underage sex apparently lose out to a media star and a minor prince.

I don’t think that the H+M situation has got anything at all to do with the Prince Andrew situation. It most certainly has not been brought about simply to deflect attention from Andrew. H+M have brought this situation about. The instigator is certainly Meghan. Did Harry look so miserable before Meghan or when he was dating Chelsea or Cressida? Of course not, Meghan has played Harry wonderfully well. She knew what her end game was, and she has executed her plan perfectly. She was always after wealth and fame, she was never after duty. She doesn’t understand the word. If she did know what duty is, she would never have abandoned her father so cruelly. He made a few mistakes, but how he has paid for them! According to Meghan’s friends and a past agent, Meghan always drops people when they are no longer of any use to her, which explains her father’s situation, and her ex husband’s situation (sent the rings back in the post!)

But trisher, in all fairness, that happens all the time. One event or story overtakes another. At the moment, it’s H+M and what’s happening in Iran and who will be the Labour leader. Brexit has almost disappeared from the news, along with Prince Andrew. No doubt it’ll all return, what goes around comes around.

And incidentally, no one has forgotten about Prince Andrew, but we won’t hear too much about him because he’s effectively been banished from public view. That won’t be the case with H+M though, Meghan will never allow that to happen, she wants to be in the news, but only if she can control how she’s in the news.

And you don't think that in this case anyone is using their news? Suppose for example the headlines had read "M&H are building a new life in Canada we wish them well"- mm no story! No one to victimise. Prince A remains the baddie!!!

As has been explained over and over and over, majority of people do wish them well in their new life - but not while they appear to be planning that new life based on cashing in on the Sussex Royal brand and handouts from the RF to give them the media coverage they so crave.

If H & M had cleared off too Canada without their announcement, -they love announcements , I am surprised there wasn’t an an announcement stating we will not make an
announcement of our move to Canada ‘ - there wouldn’t be the same press coverage.

Then you'd all be moaning they sneaked off. FFS they are adult human beings who you are at liberty to dislike but really they have a right to live their lives as they wish. Try being as brutal about someone who really deserves your ire. But it's all been done before. Really the games the press plays with the RF and the public are just unbelievable. Can't understand how anyone falls for any of it.

Doesn't matter SirChenjin it's all a game of Good Royal Bad Royal. It sells newspapers, it distracts the public, it gives TV 'personalities' and news people work. None of it means anything but the great British public lap it up. You would expect that a few more people would have cottoned on by now.

It's nothing new SirChenjin I realise that for some weird reason there are people who somehow imagine they have some sort of special relationship with the RF (that doesn't actualy exist) and for some reason they become embroiled in things that happen in the RF. But ignoring the Good Royal Bad Royal game is just ridiculous. It's been going on for decades and it bears no relation to reality. Charles was Bad Royal for a long time, so was Camilla. They morphed into Good Royals so replacements had to be found.

SirChenin is right Trisher. The public do wish them well in their new life in Canada, but NOT at the expense of selling their brand, and continuing to take massive handouts from The Duchy. And by claiming to want to continue some royal duties, no doubt the ones which give them further publicity for their brand, then I’m afraid the public don’t like that. And that much is evident from the posts on here. We are part of the public.
If H+M had simply declined the title of Duke and Duchess of Sussex, if they had said all along that they wished to live quietly in Canada, and they had gone and got on with living their life, there would have been little in the news about them. That patently is not what they want is it?
