Looks like the Daily Mail is being sued by them regarding a private letter from the Duchess to her estranged father.

Who is behind the letter being shown to the paper? An unhappy member of their staff? Or Mr. Markle maybe?

She loved Charles, Barry Manakee. Adored Hewitt. Loved Khan . Loved Gilby. That’s a lot of love in 8 years

MissAdventure Thu 10-Oct-19 18:39:35

I think she was an emotional person.
She loved, hated, and everything in between.

grapefruitpip Thu 10-Oct-19 18:50:53

Annie, not really. Pretty average.

Eglantine21 Thu 10-Oct-19 18:56:30

She destroyed the Carlings marriage with her affair with Will Carling.

Do you remember that shot of Julia Carlings face crumpled in distress and grief?

grapefruitpip Thu 10-Oct-19 18:58:47

not really, the dim wit could have kept it in his pants.

Anniebach Thu 10-Oct-19 19:00:36

I had forgotten the Carling affair and Oliver Hoare

Eglantine21 Thu 10-Oct-19 19:01:22

Takes two ?

i thought everyone knew that Diana was duped and used. She was only 19 years old.
She didn't know Charles wanted Camilla
that is certainly the way that makes sense. She never looked like she knew what she was getting into

pinkquartz Thu 10-Oct-19 19:03:55

definitely time for a massive cull.

Sweden did it last week

MissAdventure Thu 10-Oct-19 19:04:11

I would say Will Carling destroyed his marriage.
Any person who betrays their partner bears responsibility for doing it.

Eglantine21 Thu 10-Oct-19 19:07:20

I guess I think we are all responsible for the pain we cause.

She didn’t have to do it any more than he did,

Anniebach Thu 10-Oct-19 19:07:49

She got into rather a lot of other womens marriages , yes she was so naive !

grapefruitpip Thu 10-Oct-19 19:09:17

Who would like to cull pink?

MissAdventure Thu 10-Oct-19 19:09:19

Fair comment, but you can't hold just Diana responsible for Will Carlings failings.

MissAdventure Thu 10-Oct-19 19:11:41

Lots of naive, vulnerable, women go from man to man, looking for love.

I'm not saying that was the case with Diana because I don't know, but its worth a thought.

pinkquartz Thu 10-Oct-19 19:14:56

grapefruitpip

aren't you lovely?

grapefruitpip Thu 10-Oct-19 19:15:46

er.....I dunno? Sometimes?

Iam64 Thu 10-Oct-19 19:16:26

They do indeed MissAdventure. Diana was the virgin bride, a rare thing even then in a 19 year old and vanishingly rare these days.
Young people have sexual relationship before they "settle down". Diana had her experience when her marriage was falling apart. Not an unusual thing and certainly not yet another thing to use to 'prove' she was mentally ill, unreliable etc etc.

MissAdventure Thu 10-Oct-19 19:16:30

grin

pinkquartz Thu 10-Oct-19 19:20:51

I am culled......sad

Anniebach Thu 10-Oct-19 19:22:57

How does anyone know Diana was a virgin bride ?

MissAdventure Thu 10-Oct-19 19:38:46

We don't know.
Supposedly that was essential in order to marry Charles, but we've no more idea about that than we have about Harry shouting at staff "What Meghan wants, Meghan gets!".

merlotgran Thu 10-Oct-19 20:00:05

Diana said she kept herself 'tidy.'

I don't think that meant making sure she didn't have the back of her skirt tucked in her knickers! grin

Anniebach Thu 10-Oct-19 20:55:05

She said ‘ I knew I had to keep myself tidy ‘, ,

merlotgran Thu 10-Oct-19 21:25:50
