What one thing - apart from money - would make your life a whole lot better?
It can be anything.......real life or fantasy.

Mine is:
To be less fearful of so many things..........shock

Right now to find a dentist who'll repair my denture which has split. It did have a crack forming but I just carried on, as you do and now after buying a denture repair kit can't get hold of a dental mechanic who can deal with it right now !

Or even in the next fortnight without going through the rigmarole of checking and suggesting a new set.
I don't want a new set, these teeth are fine and do the job they're supposed to do. They're all after wheedling a couple of hundred out of you. They only need welding ! It's not asking a lot.

It's my worst nightmare being without teeth.

A self-cleaning, self-tidying house. My arthritis is getting worse and it's becoming harder to keep on top of everything.

midgey Tue 01-Oct-19 12:44:42

Being a whole lot thinner would be a huge benefit!

My worst nightmare to be left without my teeth. I got new ones and carry old ones in my bag as spares ;)

Coolgran65 Tue 01-Oct-19 12:46:01

Better health.

Oldandverygrey Tue 01-Oct-19 12:46:43

My life would be a whole lot better if I stopped worrying so much about my husbands health.

CraftyGranny Tue 01-Oct-19 12:50:08

Ditto LondonGranny and Midgey

Mine too EllanVannin

Unfortunately mine is related to the 'B' word. I wish I could feel secure that we can continue our life in France without health care or residency worries.

Apart from health and happiness for my family, I would like peace of mind. I have been anxious and scared every day since I was a child. Ellan I hope you get your teeth sorted. I lost all mine when I was a child. Worst nightmare is right.

To be more fit and mobile. Being a size 12 would be great too.

NfkDumpling Tue 01-Oct-19 13:12:21

Ditto Nina!

To stop worrying about everyone and everything!

If my older son and daughter got on better - they are constantly butting heads - I’m sure they love each other and will be there like a shot if either of them were in trouble but ...,,,

LondonGranny Tue 01-Oct-19 13:33:02

I did used to worry about being such a worrier but a good friend said people who never worry about anything are often quite arrogant & thoughtless and she'd rather have an empathetic worrier for a friend than an arrogant thoughtless one!

Teleportation, or Back to the Future hoverboards. We always seem to be due somewhere else and the traffic round here gets worse by the day. We're either in the car crawling past roadworks or I'm shelling out a small fortune in bus fares.

I'd still choose to walk when I can.

To stop worrying about everyone and everything!
The problem is not that there are problems.

The problem is thinking that having problems is a problem!

Squiffy Tue 01-Oct-19 14:50:14

Rufus ???

Gonegirl Tue 01-Oct-19 14:56:04

Ten years off of my age. I want to be strong again.

And a few extra teeth.

Ninarosa Tue 01-Oct-19 15:13:40

Finding a small cache of items that have gone AWOL over the years.
My dearly loved late Mum's silk headscarf with her scent as it was called then, on. She died when I was 18.
A small pair of diamond stud earrings I have bequeathed my friend in my will, she'll be lucky - not!
And the spare set of car keys my o.h. still mentions, four newer cars down the line.
I don't even have the excuse of having moved house as we've been in the same abode for forty years.

I would like to be able to calm myself, to stop being so anxious about everything, to conquer my ever increasing fear of flying. Sadly, I am getting more like my beloved grandmother every day, she too was a worrier, and if she had nothing to worry about, she was convinced that the family were keeping things from her! Mind you, if I end up half of the lovely woman my grandmother was, I will be lucky ( but could do without the anxiety bit!)

MamaCaz Tue 01-Oct-19 15:21:25

Right now, life would be infinitely better if my elderly mother could live near enough for me and the rest of the family to see and help her regularly, and be able to include her in our day-to-day lives. Unfortunately, property prices being so much lower in her region, it's not an option. I am totally stressed out by the current set-up!

Eglantine21 Tue 01-Oct-19 15:24:56

Being able to decide which wallpaper to put up in the living room!

I’ve got eight samples hanging up at the moment. I’m beginning to get bored with the whole thing?

kittylester Tue 01-Oct-19 16:31:50

Today: the rain to stop dripping through the hall ceiling so we can start the repair.

ayse Tue 01-Oct-19 16:38:33

For all my daughters to be happy or at least content. Oh, and for the older two to settle ongoing differences in interpretation of previous events. I try not to comment to either of them but I still feel like piggy in the middle and feel so powerless to make it better. It worries me
