This is obviously lighthearted!

Do posters picture other posters?

I see gonegirl as very slim, energetic, blond, busy, athletic and a good cook!grin

I see Maryeliza as a size 12/14 a reader and with a very wide social circle who does voluntary work.

I see urmstrongrsn as quite tall and slim, likes a night out, loud and cheeky but very soft heated.

grin feel free to add posters wink

I wouldn’t hold your breath rosecarmel -the Scots (and the Broons) don’t suffer fools gladly

Goodness, that's a lot of suffering for just one country-
I do wish you and yours speedy recoveries- smile

BTW, does your iPad/computer/phone not have what we call “full stops”, and you I imagine “periods” rosecarmel ?

No, all of my keyboards are postmenopausal- smile

You just can't bring yourself to name the person though can you?
You obviously haven't got the courage.
Sad indeed.
How can I be greedy when I have all I want and need.
Snobbish...haha...from Liverpool? Don't make me laugh.
Self important? Give me an instance.
I have as much right to correct grammar/spelling as anyone else. The fact that I choose to exercise that right at times is beside the point.
At least I don't pretend that poor spelling doesn't exist and that I 'know what they mean', when I don't.
I'm not one of the Emperor's New Clothes gang.
Any more digs at me and I shall report you for making me the target of replies and not the essence of the thread.
Whatever you do or don't like about a poster on GN, it should not in any way be reflected in a personal comment aimed at castigating that person simply because you don't like them.
You've made it clear that it's me you target yet you're too scared to actually come out and say so.
That says it all.
You know it's wrong.
If you don't like, don't read but you can't help yourself.

I like you -- if it matters any- Even though my spelling and grammar are hideous ..

My husband knew that when he married me, and married me anyway- smile

Apologies to Mycatisahacker.
It's a great pity when the OP took care to remind us that it was a lighthearted thread, yet snidey and cutting comments spoilt it...and not for the first time on GN.
What's with the hatchet jobs? Can't you be civil and polite?

GabriellaG54 Fri 24-May-19 00:25:43

Post at 00.14 was to mcem

Thanks Gabriella for your congratulations on my weight loss. It all started as I was nearing 60 (I’m 72 now). I saw a photo taken on holiday with some friends of ours and I thought ‘who’s that fat bird’ and it was ME ?

Pittcity Fri 24-May-19 09:32:22

I have met many of you and nobody is as I imagined. I try not to picture people any more.
This was me in a GN video a few years ago. I have now grown out the blonde and am mousy light brown with silver highlights (natural) and still prefer gloss to lipstick.

Oh dear rosecarmel something clearly got lost in translation.

You might not understand “awa an bile yer heid “ either.

GabriellaG54 Fri 24-May-19 10:05:12

Pittcity
Fabulous, with or without the make-up. smile

Growing0ldDisgracefully Fri 24-May-19 10:58:43

Here's me - draw your own conclusions! 62 and growing old disgracefully.... still not out of the teenage rebellion stage.....
5' 2", long white hair (previously blonde in the Jurassic era).

Fennel Fri 24-May-19 13:05:04

Well done GrowingOld - keep going as long as you can. 62 is young by my standards.
My photo on the old thread was of me driving a tractor. I was never confident doing that because husband managed to tip it over once when he was driving it. The land was on a steep slope.
I used to dye my hair auburn in those days -I've stopped that now, its a mix of grey and white.

crazyH Fri 24-May-19 13:13:29

Well done 'growingold'.....that's the way ?

lemongrove Fri 24-May-19 13:22:55

I’m just as gorgeous as you all imagine btw?

NanKate Sat 25-May-19 13:10:02

I can confirm that Lemongrove even though I knew you in your old persona.

Jane10 Sat 25-May-19 13:46:21

Gabriella it must have been your modest retiring personality that drew so many to you! hmm

lemongrove Sat 25-May-19 15:05:23

NanKate.....your cheque is in the post.?

NanKate Sat 25-May-19 16:55:39

You said that last time ?

Chewbacca Sat 25-May-19 18:48:05

Lemongrove I can vouch, is absolutely stunningly beautiful. Could give Sophia Loren a run for her money in dimly lit room any day of the week. I've invoiced you on a pm Lemon

Marydoll Sat 25-May-19 19:40:00

Wow, Pittcity , that is just not how I imagined what you look like.
You look fabulous.

Lisagran Sat 25-May-19 19:48:50

That’s a backhanded compliment, Marydoll. grin

Pittcity Sat 25-May-19 20:56:46

Thanks Marydoll, but it was a few years ago and only from the neck up!

lemongrove Sat 25-May-19 21:28:31

I say a lot of things NanKate grin

Thanks Chewy yes, I am a bit of alright ( in the dark with the light behind me.)

Marydoll Sat 25-May-19 22:00:45

Oops! ? Sorry, Pittcity.

Pittcity Sun 26-May-19 08:01:13

Should've put a wink on my last statement Marydoll
It's very difficult to put thoughts into words, especially without a chance to edit.... I don't take offence easily especially over looks grin
