I used to be 5’7 now 5’5, longish slim legs, size 14 so not too fattish and you’re sort of right on light make up but it goes on straight out the shower whether I m going out or staying in Like my earrings especially ethnic type Never use any beauty things like creams, never needed to pluck eyebrows or shave legs ( the blond bit) so I m ready for the day in about 10 mins Fairly low maintenance

I'm certainly not pretty but I must be attractive to some degree as I had a huge number of b/fs before I married and was engaged 3 times.
I appealed to both sexes as, in my 40s and 50s I was propositioned by 3 different women. One, a woman who had inherited a farm called The Limes, somewhere around Wolverhampton, another who was the Parisian guest of an English Duke and his wife (we met at dinner) and the last was a young Asian actress for whom I was clarifying some legal issues.
Unfortunately for them, I have no interest in women...other than as friends and even then, I have many more male friends than female ones.
Women can be so catty and gossipy which I find unappealing.

I watched an enjoyable film last night on iPlayer starring Pierce Brosnan. 'Love Is All You Need'.

Subtitled from Swedish. I like subtitled films - more interesting IMO.
It gets removed in 90 minutes if you want to see it.

Do you have a problem with opinionated, self confident women mcem because you seem very bitter and scathing when no-one has given you cause to be so, not in this thread anyway.
I would look in the mirror and ask yourself why you need to castigate others who actually, in a non-narcissistic manner, like themselves.

That alone tells you that many women from Liverpool have oodles of confidence and I'm certainly not remotely pretty.

I have a bit of a problem with this picturing people malarkey.

For a start I don't see any of us as 'old'. So many posters are witty, funny well read, kind, capable, wise etc and I can only imagine lots of lively women I'd probably enjoy chatting and laughing with over a cuppa.

Going on the news and politics threads more often than anywhere else I suppose (fool that I am) I have a picture in my head of some of the Grans I may be at loggerheads with. They are all very strident, upright and slightly imperious. I expect they are all doctor's receptionists - or leaders of WI groups, circa 1950, or failing that, storm troopers.

On GN I have encountered only one poster who is unfailingly unsympathetic, greedy, snobbish and self-important. Who claims a position of superiority along with the right to correct grammar and spelling mistakes despite the fact that she frequently makes those same mistakes.
These are traits I wholeheartedly dislike and am well aware that I am not alone in that.
(I'd also dispute the use of the term "non-narcissistic" in this context.).
I have outlined certain characteristics I dislike, while I tend not to dislike people.
