This thread is hilarious in parts, a most amusing read. Some members seem to aspire to 'a modest and retiring personality' as being the ideal. This is their choice but they must bear in mind some of us also aspire to have a 'confident and opinionated' one. I know which I find the most interesting people. I have worked all my life to achieve a high level of confidence which sadly to say still eludes me and lack of confidence has led me down many a wrong path leading to disasterous life choices. If only........ So yes I admire people with Chutzpah and to say outright they do not like women who are catty and gossip and for the said type of people to then come out and be catty and gossip and prove her point is downright hilarious GN refects real life, a mixed bag of people And for GabriellaG54 to state she is not very good looking and blow the theory out of the water that it is only the 'Beautiful' people who are entitled to wear the 'Self Confident' badge just adds to her strength. To me the most useful qualities to get on in life are kindness, determination and self confidence. If you have those you can do ANYTHING.

What an interesting thread and peoples descriptions of themselves are often way off how I pictured them!

Didn’t the original poster ask if we pictured other posters? Most of the replies are describing themselves, rather than others.

I try not to picture people ,I had an awful let down years ago.We had a client who I dealt with by phone an donly the drivers ever saw him.He had the most amazing voice ,so when he said he would pick his prints up all the women in the studio were keen to see if his looks were even half as good as his voice .Sadly the man who sounded like a cross between"Anton Meyer" in Holby and Sean Connery turned out to be a wee fat baldy guy with acne ...lol.What a letdown

Well as I started the thread I am a short arse 5/1 inch and 8 stone.

I had great arms until Dec last year when I saw cellulite one morning which is very annoying! I fake tan them so they look better. Fake tan covers so many flaws.

I was told I have anatomically perfect clavicles by a doctor! I mean I ask you if only it was perfect legs.

Blond not by nature and green eyes.

You all sound bloody amazing and I so agree with the confidence comments.

I am 5ft something, used to be blond by nature and now by
Hairdresser, am 60 something, have neat hands and feet ( it’s the rest that isn’t so good)? and I will get back to you about my clavicles after my next GP appointment.
I love fake tan for arms too, and tbh for legs.
I have greeny blue eyes and fair skin.
I seem to end up wearing shades of blue so have challenged
myself to stop buying that colour.I laugh a lot ( explains the crows feet.)

That was sarcasm writ large and you are correct.
I say what I mean and vice versa and not afraid to set out my stall besides which, I like talking and the men I've met liked listening and reading the letters I write...proper letters on nice paper in tissue-lined envelopes.
It surprised me that quite a number of men like women who can have interesting conversation about a wide variety of interests and are somewhat quirky in their outlook...not needy and clingy and I'm very forgiving too.
I'm not fussed about forgotten birthdays or receiving flowers or forgotten phone calls as they, to me, are unimportant things.
I was an interesting, undemanding, confident date...with no benefits.

Mawbroon .. my family name can be traced back to 600/700AD .. Scotland ..
