Good Evening Mick and others who advised on my Electric Scooter. News is she's arrived! Red of course and looks very sleek and sexy! Even has a coffee-cup holder, but no GPS or air-bag. Looking forward to racing around the shopping centre.! Good scootering!

Good morning from a sunny spot near the river in Burnsall. Just stopped on the dog walk for refreshments at Wharfe View Cafe.

Good morning all.
So sorry to hear your sad news Harris 27, and so close to Mother's Day too. I hope it awakens so many happy memories for you of the time before she took ill to give you some comfort.
We thoroughly enjoyed Beamish Museum with DGC earlier in the week. It must have been good as to spend four hours out with our little ones is quite an achievement. That's the great thing about open air museums, there's always plenty of space to run about.
Quiet day today waiting for the delivery of new flooring for our porch. One job finishes and then another begins.
I hope there's plenty of sunshine around for most of you today to make you smile. Have a good day.

Good morning All x
Another bright and calm day, washing on the go after having hoovered around. My only spurt of energy is first thing in the morning so I strike while the iron's hot or nothing gets done.

Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Anniebach Thu 28-Mar-19 08:56:22

Morning Mick and all GNs . Going to my Thursday group .....for the over 50s, though most members are in their 60s, 70s and 80s. Started off with about 15 members and now, we are about 95 . We meet at the local community hall, for a coffee, chat etc. We have guest speakers, singers etc. Today, I think we're having a choir, to entertain us.
Have a nice day all !

Good morning to you all, it promises to be a fine day when the mist has cleared, but it is really chilly at the moment, I foolishly turned off the central heating yesterday and forgot to put it on again over=night. Not much planned for today, I am quite enjoying the fine weather and just sitting in the garden which desperately needs some TLC, so the gardener has been contacted. Enjoy your days.

Auntieflo Thu 28-Mar-19 08:35:21

Morning Michael, Annie to come and all. A bit greyish here at the moment. DH to Dr's this morning for his first implant/ injection. He's a bit apprehensive (me too) , then out for a natter and cup of tea with an old work friend. Should really do some washing, but it can wait till tomorrow.
Sending best wishes all those unwell or under the weather.
Enjoy your day one and all.

Greyduster Thu 28-Mar-19 08:33:56

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Well, Maple we seem to have lost your cloud cover and the sun has come out. Hope it stays out for your tea party. DH has a dental appointment later and then one of us will do the school run. Hope your little boys are better soon Kate. Have a good day folks.

Grammaretto Thu 28-Mar-19 08:20:33

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. Grey skies at the moment but it's set to be a nice day. I hope to get some more seeds planted.
Sorry about the poorly GC and anyone facing a difficult day.

ninathenana Thu 28-Mar-19 08:17:07

Good morning everyone.

Please send your sunshine South as it's grey in Kent.
We're out to lunch with friends who live in France. They come over 2-3 times a year to stay with family.
Wishing all the poorly people well.

Mythbirtthedragon Thu 28-Mar-19 08:15:37

Good morning; it's grey and on the cool side in east London and I'm cursing the squirrel that's once again dug out my pot of primroses. Tennis this morning, trip to the registry later to collect some papers and choir tonight. Have a good day.

Morning Mick, morning All from our bright, sunny corner of Somerset. Carrying on sorting and should begin furniture move ready for decorating next week then off for a walk on the beach as a reward. Whoever thought one room contained so much ‘stuff’? Hope poorly folk are more comfortable soon and Thursday is kind to everyone.

NfkDumpling Thu 28-Mar-19 07:52:59

Another grey, still day here in the north of Norfolk. Just need that high pressure area to move a bit to the right.

Well it's quite sunny here in ne. Thank you for kind thoughts yesterday will be organising mams funeral today and then trying to do something normal like tidying and food shop. Funny how mundane things help you back to normality? Hope you all have good Thursday. Thinking about Kate and Susan too.

BlueSapphire Thu 28-Mar-19 07:41:02

Good morning all from a really bright and sunny Northampton. Washing in the machine ready to go on.

DGDs are here having stopped overnight and are just having sausage butties for breakfast! Waiting for mum to pick them up for school.

Sainsbury's delivery this morning, then do kitchen and bathroom floors, early lunch and down to the solicitors to sign my new will. Pop into town for a few odds and ends.

Hope everyone's day goes well.

harrigran Thu 28-Mar-19 07:33:25

Good morning from a sunny NE. Woken by text message to tell me that I will have a parcel delivered between 11.30 and 14.30 so will be at home I guess.
Had a wonderful lunch out yesterday, scallops followed by duck all cooked to perfection and a Kir Royale to celebrate DD's birthday. I spoke to her on the phone and told her we had celebrated, she is a vegetarian and marked her birthday at a rock concert ?

1inamillion Thu 28-Mar-19 07:32:51

Good Morning Mick and everyone. A beautiful sunny morning here on the Welsh coast, a great fillip.

DD and DS going to London on the train later this morning, DS for work and DD to Heathrow, she's off to China then Japan.

Have a good day everyone.

Marydoll Thu 28-Mar-19 07:31:31

Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, I envy your sunshine Gilly.

A bit tired after my day out with my friends yesterday. We met a colleague who still works in the school and she commented on how well we all looked, as we no longer worked in that madhouse, She, on the other hand, looked exhausted.

DH is off out to town to have lunch with his ex colleagues. He will need a lift to the station, so I may join him on the train and have a wee wander around Glasgow on my own and then come back with him.
He has warned that I have to come nowhere near the restaurant he will be in, as his friends won't get a word in edgeways if I appear! ?

Kate, you get yourself home and have a good rest and I hope the boys are on the mend soon.

susan, I'm glad to hear that you are starting to get back to normal.

Maple, afternoon tea sounds a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
Have a good Thursday, everyone.

Urmstongran Thu 28-Mar-19 07:31:22

Good morning everyone from South Manchester where it promises to be a lovely day. The sky is a pale blue and I can make out the Pennines.

Meeting an old ex colleague for coffee and a catch up this afternoon then home and out again this evening as we are going to a bar where we’ve arranged to see friends. All in all a nice day for catching up with good people.

Hope your DGS get better today NanKate and you can have a good rest yourself soon in your own home. Glad to hear your husband is slowly on the mend Susan56 I’m sure seeing your granddaughter today will cheer you both up. Wishing everyone a happy Thursday whatever your plans or none. x
