Good morning from a very mild NE coast. Off to “that place” . I’m meeting the valuer from the LA regarding the proposed rent rise on our factory unit of 20%..... not that I think they will change their greedy, fat cat, little minds but I’m giving it a go anyway.

Sorry to hear your grandson Bertie is poorly Kitty (asthma is horrible and there seem to be so many children suffering).

I know what you mean about the birds oldgaijin we don’t seem to be able to keep the bird table stocked, it’s all gone before I get in from work. I do enjoy watching them at the weekend .

What on earth. did you go and drop a weight on your foot for Harri? That was a silly thing to do ! (Perhaps you need to drop one in the other foot then at least the bruising will match). Sorry, I bet it’s sore.

Have a good Thursday everyone. x

Good morning everyone from a dry and mild South Manchester. Car problem to sort today. It packed up last night. We need to sort a pick up truck to the garage.
It’s not going to be cheap whatever it is. Oh joy. ?

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A bit of a grey start in South Yorkshire, but not cold. I ache from head to foot this morning and am reluctant to leave my bed, but shopping to do, and then the last school run of the week later. Nankate so sad to hear about your friend’s son. 44 is no age.
Kitty I hope Bertie is feeling better this morning. A visit from his granny will be a tonic!
Have a good day folks.

Good Morning all , grey and mild out , the mini Daffodils are in full bloom , think they are called Minnows , I couldn't find tete a tete at the time , these are paler and very pretty . Cleaned patio doors yesterday , using the newspaper tip that someone mentioned , worked a treat but my arms are aching now , doesn't take much to set off elderly muscles

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Hope today is as sunny as yesterday.

New window and door fittings have started in the bungalows, dreading it.

Younger daughter going home this morning , will miss her so much.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning All

A misty start here in the north of Norfolk. I had hoped the sun would burn through but it hasn’t yet.

We had new windows a while ago Annie. It’s not too bad, little mess, they worked mostly from the outside and they’re very quick. Lots of banter too!

And gillybob - 20%!! How on earth can they justify that! Good luck.

A bit late in the day because I've been out and about since early morning.

Hope you had a wonderful day drinking coffee and shopping in B & B smile

It's still very hot here and my front door is open 24 hours a day (unless I'm out of course) as I can't sleep without fresh air through the house in such weather.
The trees are just beginning to turn and with the extremely hot summer we've had so far, are bound to be picturesque and ablaze with colour.

I'm not looking forward to winter but that's another 2+ months away.

Good morning all from a warm and sunny C. Durham.
After visit to the solicitor yesterday I too am being encouraged to write out funeral plans Marydoll. DH did his a while ago and now I'm being pressed to get mine done. It's so hard making a start on something you don't really want to think about but I am determined it will be done today then I can put it all to the back of my mind.
Looking forward to some gardening at last after the house clean. I must say the new kitchen is much easier to keep spick and span. The old one was hard work.
Have a lovely day everyone.
