Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A pale grey still start to the day in South Yorkshire and I am going fishing. First outing of the season. Conditions should be perfect, but big upland waters tend to make their own rules. Anyway, if all else fails, there will be a picnic lunch! Kitty I hope you feel better soon - probably the strain of yesterday’s medical non event!? Have a good day, folks.

Good morning everyone from the early bird in South Manchester. The church bells woke me striking 7am so I’m sat here now with the first cuppa of the day. It’s dry and light and I can see the Pennine ridge so that’s a good sign.

Getting the train from across the road into Deansgate at 2pm to meet up in a pub with husband’s 2 brothers and their wives. We don’t get together very often and when we do it’s always great so I’m really looking forward to it!

Calm and cloudy here on the south coast and supposed to stay like that according to the forecast.

kitty I am sorry that you had the unnecessary worry about Mr K. yesterday but all's well that ends well - hopefully!

One more day for me to cope with the stitches in my mouth then hopefully it will feel a lot easier. Plan to go to choir this evening all being well.

Its light and not cold in North Leicestershire. I have been awake since 1 am and feel awful now but I have a busy day ahead with an Alzheimer's course and the school run so no chance to have a lie in.

Those of you who wished DH well with his appointment yesterday might like to know that the consultant was as perplexed as we were so it was a big non-event.
