Soops kitchen refuge for gentle ladies

I feel your pain Anneliese I hate dentists( and have looming appointments!) . I have an implant , had it about 8 years now I think and it was both painless and worked a treat. BUT I have had it fall out a couple of times because they implant the post in your jaw and put a crown on that. Its a lot more solid than a typical crown but not full proof ( just thought I would share my experience.) . I had mine done by the leading guy in the country too and can totally recommend the procedure.

Please excuse me sharing a proud Nana moment , young Jackson was part of a science team that went to the Science Fair - and he and his 3 pals won !! Not bad for a class of 7 yr olds - so I'm sharing a picture of them and their trophy. I am super proud of them .

dragonfly46 the dentist I chose specialises in implants and was brilliant. It was certainly less stressful than a failed root filling I had some years earlier. I will let you know how things go! Enjoy your London vigsit and time with your DD. And your Mother’s Day lunch!

It’s OK charley, my role will be primarily supervisory, . We’ve emptied about half the contents without harm, all will be well. Down time for me now so I’ve snuck in for a catch-up.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling too good syn. You have to carry so much weight on your shoulders at the moment. There is also fear of the unknown but once your DH has his op and this limbo is over things will get better.

My DD had her first baby 10 days ago at 10.30 am - home by 8.
Mind you, hospitals are busy, noisy places and the peaceful maternity wards we may have known are a thing of the past.
I wish them much happiness.

That's true about the wards being peacefull. It was like being in a cocoon where you felt safe. Hope Otis is thriving, good night all.

Wishing Soop a safe journey down to the Vale of Leven. It should be a pleasant drive, as the sun is trying to peek through.
I can't keep up with all the comings and goings in the kitchen, so I will wish all those with sorry and pain, hugs and prayers.
I could do with some myself, if anyone has a any to spare.

I keep starting a reply to all the posts which I've been reading to catch up but never managing to finish one so this is the first post in this new kitchen! Thoughts are with everyone's trials at the moment and wishing all those with health problems and appointments well.

Lovely photos of all the children and also congratulations to new arrivals.

Mr W retired yesterday so life will definitely be changing for us now. His works presented him with a 3D printer - the photos of his shocked face are hilarious!

I will try to do better this time and hopefully find more time to reply properly!

I can't stop this morning , my 'surprise' visitors will arrive this afternoon to celebrate an early Mothers Day and I must tidy and prep and get my 'surprised ' face on !!! Grampy cant keep a secret for toffees!!!!
