Good morning all from a damp and dreich Perthshire.

The forecast of snow overnight thankfully didn’t happen and goodness knows why I even bother looking at the forecast as 9/10 it’s wrong.

The house is a complete guddle at the moment as our decorator hasn’t quite finished yet so again today will find us emptying one room into another room. I forget where I put things at the best of times so finally rearranging things should be an adventure?

Damp and dreary here in South Bucks.

What joy back in my own bed after 4 days looking after DGSs. We only have 3 days off before we are back doing it all again !

Have told DH I am in recuperation mood and will not be cooking today! When we were at our Garden Centre recently we saw that they did a Carvery with lots of nice veg so that is where we are heading off to today.

Thank goodness I'd done two lots of washing yesterday, mostly towels which dried nicely.
Won't be moving much today, only to cook dinner.

Morning all from North Leicestershire (about 5 miles away from dragonfly) where we had snow overnight but now have heavy rain.

A vary lazy day for me - mostly consisting of making lunch, eating it and sitting down a lot.

Good Morning , dull and chilly here , Sunday dinner of chicken to make after Masa . Visiting Daughter is a talented cook ?

Supposed to be walking the 15 mile Marsden March for cancer today but it was cancelled due to extreme weather warnings, am looking out of my window at a dry morning, bit cloudy with light breeze. Months of training. Oh well get a lie in but great shame as thousands of good people disappointed. I know decision made for safety of people but seems a bit drastic, maybe it will be worse later.

I am feeling as if I have been in a boxing match with a sore and bruised jaw but I was warned that day two would be the worst.

Haven’t opened the curtains but I am hear the wind blowing a gale outside. Off to meet one of AC and family at garden centre for coffee and chat this morning then straight over to a lovely traditional country pub for lunch with friends.

Good morning everyone from South Manchester where I can see this morning that the top ridge of the Pennines are covered in snow. It’s damp and chilly with a wash of pale grey clouds but brightening on the horizon.

A restful day ahead, just husband taking young grandson to his cricket practice this afternoon I don’t know which of them enjoys it more! then over to see t’other generation and chat with dad for an hour. Hope Sunday is good to us all. x

Didn't sleep well due to heavy rain and wind, it is dry now but blowing a gale.
If there was washing out today I think it may end up in Beechnut's garden on the other side of the Bristol Channel.

Going to tackle the sudoku now. It is ham and parsley sauce for us later.
Hope you feel better soon gaga, DH has to have similar work done soon.

Morning everyone from Fife. Here we have light snow, heavy skies and just not nice. Weekend plans all scuppered. DD did not get away as planned due to illness. DSIL will have to wait for his 40th celebrations. Don't know if you can catch flu after vaccination but that's certainly how I feel - miserable. Hope it all goes away soon. Despite weather hope everyone has a calm day.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. It is cold and wet in South Yorkshire but only the west side of the city has snow so far. DH is umming and ahhing about whether to go and watch GS play football.
