Had a robin outside bedroom window - it was singing most of the night - most odd!
I only realised this morning we are going on holiday on Wednesday and NOT Thursday as I had thought so I’ve “lost” a day.
Very early start tomorrow as we are babysitting 6 month old GD as DD has job interview.

gillybob Sun 10-Mar-19 17:22:01

Well DH and I are off to our last concert . I’m dressed like Nanook of the North as it’s “brass monkey” here in Glasgow . grin

Lucky all those above not to be watching RUGBY!

Good afternoon from (a now, mostly dry) Guildford.
It's been a very very wet ? and windy ? day so far with outdoor furniture thrown about but a pale blue sky with fluffy clouds and yes, a smattering of sunshine ? right now.
Time for a breezy walk on Blackdown before dinner.

Annapops!
It’s blowing here in VERY sunny Guernsey but also beautiful, I hope you enjoy your stay.
Any recommendations I’m happy to oblige.

Very cold and wet here in Norwich. Quick trip to local garden centre for some seed compost and a tray of lovely bright primroses to brighten up front door step! Will plant them up tomorrow. Late lunch today, belly of pork!

lincolnimp Sun 10-Mar-19 12:49:07

Afternoon all, from a sunny and windy East Sussex coast.
Was planning a run but just easing myself back in after injury, still a little stiff after yesterday and Boxercise tomorrow, so decided to continuing decluttering instead.

Afternoon all. I'm a newbie here so still finding my way. Sleet here but cloudy and rainy. DH painting but I'm opting for lunch in Uppermill then birdseed buying, main shop then cosy Marsden afternoon on the sofa x

Good morning from a wet ne. Dinner then ironing then siting listening to radio two.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sun 10-Mar-19 10:41:54

Morning all. Wet, wet, wet here in South Notts. Hope all is well. Shopping later, too wet to garden. Take it easy M0nica, I used to get terrible migraines but seem to have 'grown out of them' thankfully. Be kind to yourself.

Luckygirl Sun 10-Mar-19 10:33:59

M0nica - sorry you are feeling unwell. Let us hope for a speedy return of some lovely spring weather. Best medicine ever.

M0nica Sun 10-Mar-19 10:32:22

Bright and sunny but very windy in Oxfordshire. I wish I felt bright and sunny. I got the dreaded lurgy over a month ago. The cough and cold have long gone, but the malady lingers on. I still feel washed out. I keep thinking I am on the mend then a day like to day I wake feeling awful - and with migraine.

Oh well, maybe I will feel better tomorrow.

Sorry to rain on everyone's parade.

Legs55 Sun 10-Mar-19 10:28:42

Sunny here in Devon at the moment but still high winds & sudden squally showers. During the night wheelie bins were blowing around!! Off out to Lunch with my Meet Up Group & then to DD's for coffee.

Luckygirl Sun 10-Mar-19 10:25:46

somewhere more secure....

You can tell I was awake in the night! grin

Luckygirl Sun 10-Mar-19 10:25:09

wok???!!!

Luckygirl Sun 10-Mar-19 10:24:53

Morning all. Blowing a gale here on the Welsh border. Incinerator and lid blew around in the night and wok us up. When the wind dies down I will have to find somewhere more to lodge it.

Planning a quiet day today - bit of designy jobs to do on computer, then I will pop down to the next village for a Sunday paper; and settle down - light the woodburner and listen to the treasure trove that is Radio 3 on a Sunday afternoon. Wonderful!

Mapleleaf Sun 10-Mar-19 10:17:43

Good morning,
It's damp, cold and grey here in South Yorkshire today, but at least the wind has died down.
Church then a visit to the garden centre later for bird seed and a spot of lunch. Otherwise a fairly lazy Sunday, although there is a pile of ironing - might start then when DH is watching the rugby.
Hope your jaw soon feels better, Gaga. flowers
Hope today is a good day for all of you.

harrigran Sun 10-Mar-19 09:46:30

Good morning, cold but dry here in the NE.
Nothing much planned for today but need to get DD's birthday card to SIL so that he take it when he travels home abroad. I bought a very large personalised card because I was supposed to see her but the airline went bust and all flights were cancelled, not just lost the transport but money as well.

1inamillion Sun 10-Mar-19 09:41:27

BlueSapphire, what bad luck, hope your wrist is better soon, sounds like you're being taken good care of though. ?

gillybob Sun 10-Mar-19 09:40:18

Thank you Kalu that is so kind of you smile

BlueSapphire Sun 10-Mar-19 09:33:10

Good morning all. Been raining in Northampton, but is clearing up a bit now.
Spent yesterday morning in A&E, as I tripped on rough ground on Friday and had a really painful wrist. Had X rays and they think there is some damage to the scaphoid(?) bone, so am in a splint and to expect a call to say whether I need to go to the fracture clinic or not. Was amazed that I was in and out of A&E within an hour!
Managed to get to rugby in the afternoon, but not a good outcome......
Must try to get to the paper shop this morning to pay my bill, then a quiet day at home, watching Six Nations on tv.

Badenkate Sun 10-Mar-19 09:32:55

Good morning from N Shropshire. Woke up to a light covering of snow, but it's all gone now and the sun is trying to get through the clouds. No dog walk today as he's looking very pathetic on 3 legs after wrenching a front leg down a rabbit hole!

Working out my on-line shopping order first, then I have to get down to producing the spring newsletter for our local community centre charity - probably while listening to The Archers omnibus. Piano practise - bit late to start learning I know - and then sorting my cross-stitch out as I've gone wrong somewhere. Hope everyone has an enjoyable day

Kalu Sun 10-Mar-19 09:30:03

I need at least a day to recover from late nights now Gilly?. Hope you are enjoying your weekend break away?
