Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but its twilight here in Brackley this morning,
its also dry and cold outside.
Usual Sunday prepare lunch in the steamer, and then watch my cycling on eurosport.

Good morning from Lancashire...it's quiet here at the moment, but bracing ourselves for the storm which is heading our way.

Gagagran Sun 03-Mar-19 07:07:38

Good Morning Mick, Rosie and everyone.

It's a gloomy, wet. breezy day here on the south coast but mild. 10 degrees outdoors this morning according to my weather station.

Had an interesting family history day re-living 1961-62 yesterday. Wish I could remember who all the people mentioned were though!

Batten down the hatches folks - Freya's on her way.

kittylester Sun 03-Mar-19 07:14:11

Morning all from a fairly quiet North Leicestershire.

Out for lunch with a lovely gn friend and her husband today so I hope Freya stays away till we get back home.

Sar53 Sun 03-Mar-19 07:24:44

Good morning everyone from a very wet Essex by the sea. Looks quite miserable out there. We are off to the big blue and yellow store later, I'm wondering how long it will take until DH tells me he's had enough and it's time to leave !! We are hoping to have Sunday lunch in a local pub ĺater on.
Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning all seems to be Cold bright and still this morning

dragonfly46 Sun 03-Mar-19 07:29:14

Good morning, no sign of Freya yet in Leicestershire so will visit the garden centre.

oldgaijin Sun 03-Mar-19 07:30:02

Good morning all from a bright, dry Aberdeenshire, tho' there was lot of wind in the night..is this Freya?
It could be a gardening day if it's not too cold, or it could be a hunkering down with a good book type day...haven't poked my nose outside yet.
Shall make a batch of scones later as a dog walker chum often pops in on a Sunday on her way home, with hairy friend. I hope to rejoin the dog walking ranks when my four legged lodger comes to stay.
Have a happy day everyone.

Good morning everyone.A damp, grey day in Shropshire.A day of laundry today?will spend the time in between reading and relaxing as DH starts a week of annual leave this evening so it will be full speed ahead for the next week!

1inamillion Sun 03-Mar-19 07:48:22

Good Morning all.
Rained cats and dogs last evening on Glamorgan coast. Storm Freya due mid afternoon here.
As I am laid up with my foot, DH made fish finger rolls and salad last night, bless him. DD in charge today, no idea what we're having but will eat it gratefully.
Hope everyone has a good day whatever your plans.

Marydoll Sun 03-Mar-19 07:52:14

Good morning all from a very breezy Glasgow.

Off to Church early, then I plan to have an easy day, just pottering, reading the papers and some sewing alterations.
It's been a busy old week and my joints are protesting.

I said the same last week and it didn't transpire, so here's hoping.
Kitty enjoy your lunch, I'm sure you will have a lovely time.

Have a pleasant Sunday, everyone.

oldgoat Sun 03-Mar-19 08:03:55

Morning marydoll and all who follow.
A busy day preparing for a visit by my sister and an old school friend that I haven't seen for about 50 years!
Hoping to walk around York city walls if the weather is up to it.
But first I must get up and check the mouse traps - we have an invasion of rodents in our new extension!!!
Have a good day everyone.

GrannyIris5 Sun 03-Mar-19 08:08:25

Raining in Uxbridge. Off to Screwfix later for an outside tap. Rolled lamb shoulder in the slow cooker for late lunch. Enjoy your Sunday everyone x

Good Morning all and to those who follow. It's bright and very windy here in Fife but not as bad as first predicted. Couple of pots lying in garden. Back from our short break which was very enjoyable. Today will be seeing family, won't be heading out anywhere as DGS1 is recovering from chickenpox. Oldgoat have a wonderful day, lots to catch up on I would imagine. Kitty enjoy lunch and Marydoll, take today easy - remember!

gillybob Sun 03-Mar-19 08:13:54

Good morning from a windy but bright NE coast . Had my youngest DGD overnight, she slept right through so can’t complain .

Have a good Sunday everyone . x

Greyduster Sun 03-Mar-19 08:13:59

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is grey and breezy but dry at the moment. Nothing much doing today - I think I am getting DH’s cold!! DD et al were coming to lunch but have taken a rain check until next week, so it is, as they say, ‘just us mice’! (Oops! Sorry Oldgoat?!). Have a good day folks.

ninathenana Sun 03-Mar-19 08:14:43

Morning all
from a slightly breezy, slightly drizzly Kent. Freya (love that name) isn't expected to reach our S.E. corner. We shall see.
DH hasn't made it to the plot today due to the rain, so will be looking for jobs to do.
Stay safe all those who encounter Freya.
Enjoy lunch kitty

greyduster
Will we have the pleasure of your company in York on Friday? It's ages since we saw you.

Urmstongran Sun 03-Mar-19 08:26:07

Good morning everyone from what appears to be a chillier day here in South Manchester. Spits of rain just started. Husband pleased yesterday as Man Utd won yet another match! That’s 11 wins or something for all who are not interested, like me. He takes our 6y grandson to indoor cricket practice every Sunday afternoon I think they enjoy the time together.
Wishing all of us a pleasant Sunday.

Willow10 Sun 03-Mar-19 08:37:07

Good morning all. Very still and quiet here in E. Northants - is this the calm before the (Freya) storm? Was planning to meet youngest son in Northampton, but we'll see how the weather pans out. Keep safe everyone!

NannyJan53 Sun 03-Mar-19 08:41:00

Good Morning from a grey Black Country, where it is just starting to rain.

Carpenter is coming this morning to complete final measurements for our new kitchen doors, and worktops. Plasterer finished on Friday, so nice clean smooth walls instead of that horrible Anaglypta wallpaper!

Then this afternoon, it is off to order worktops and splashbacks, as Carpenter is supplying the doors.

Enjoy your lunch out kitty

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Anniebach Sun 03-Mar-19 08:57:25

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Raining in Powys

Hope everyone has a good day x

Hi everyone
Wet and windy here in Surrey this morning.
Lazy morning ahead. Visiting DD, DSil and GDS this
Afternoon. Haven’t seen them for 10 days as been away on holiday so looking forward to seeing them all. Big celebration as eldest GD got her first choice of secondary school.

NanKate Sun 03-Mar-19 09:03:11

Morning Mick and All.

Grey and calm in South Bucks.

Very disturbed night with tickly cough, how annoying.

NannyJan you will have to hold a virtual GN Coffee Morning when your kitchen is completed. I do like a slice of coffee and walnut cake ?

Mamo Sun 03-Mar-19 09:08:21

Good morning, all! Wind has dropped here in Wicklow, the daffodils are relieved, they took quite a battering! Not sure if Freya has gone away or coming back later today. Quiet day planned as nursing a sore neck and arm. Engrossed in When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanathi....Lamb roast later with some of the family though not DGS ? as he’s visiting the other side! Have a pleasant Sunday everyone
