Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but its twilight here in Brackley this morning,
its also dry and cold outside.
Usual Sunday prepare lunch in the steamer, and then watch my cycling on eurosport.

Morning - awaiting Freya here in Mid Wales. Moved everything that was moveable out of the garden yesterday and into the shed!
Spending today updating my new lace stamps page - should keep me out of mischief for a while smile

Good morning all from very wet Devon, rained during the night & hasn't stopped since I got up about 7.30. Off to local Fire Station for Charity Car Wash this morning before Freya hits this afternoon (about 3.00pm). Sunday papers, crosswords & sudoku later & easy Dinner tonight. Have a good day everyone.

Good morning. It's damp and dreary in east London, perhaps some domestics will get done today. Jaw still aching from laughing so much at last night's comedy show. Have spent some time this morning having finished 'remains of the day' for book club looking up Whalton Manor house where my grand parents were in service in the 1950s/60s. Hopefully will see DD and GD later. Have a good day.

Good morning from bright ne. It's a little windy but dry. Still in bed after long nights sleep not 100%so having lie in. Can't cook Sunday dinner as oven gone off waiting for repair man tomorrow hope not too costly. Have a good one all.

Good morning from not-at-all sunny Suffolk. Cold, wet and grey sky. Never mind, I'll be cheering my day with family. Taking my cousin to have lunch with his mum in the care home where she now lives and going for a cuppa and a sandwich with my amazing 87 year old mum while he is there. Picking my gorgeous GDD up from work and home for the lamb stew dinner which has been simmering in the slow cooker all day with her, then spending the evening crocheting and nattering. Happy days, love my family.

Ooh, and as I had about 20 minutes to wait for my bus home after the cinema, I popped into Debenhams out of the cold and ended up buying a nice jumper, reduced from £30 to £18! Shall wear it today to DS's birthday lunch.

Shirleyw Sun 03-Mar-19 09:36:52

Good morning all.....had rain earlier in Bedfordshire , has now stopped but sky still looks a bit grey, not cold though.....we shall take dogs out later for a decent walk and also pop to rspca with some blankets and old towels.....

Good morning All x
Have been up a while emptying a cupboard of crockery etc in readiness for workmen tomorrow because I won't feel like doing it later on. I hate disruptions.
Weather dull and quiet----for the moment ! A " bracing " sail for those going to Belfast today I think.

Hope the day goes well for everyone------take care if the gales descend upon you.

Grammaretto Sun 03-Mar-19 09:31:06

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders. The gale is quietening down here and we have a beautiful sunny sky. I'm keeping an eye north as we're due to travel soon.
I love this time just before the leaves appear.
Church soon and see a friend whose ex husband has died but she must organise the funeral for the sake of their children.

Good morning from Swansea,South Wales. Extremely wet and cold. Can't believe the difference in a few days when the sun was shining down. Nice day to relax indoors.

BlueSapphire Sun 03-Mar-19 09:26:54

Good morning, grey and wet in Northampton today.
Enjoyed my film yesterday, 'The Aftermath '. Got to my seat in the cinema and found myself sitting next to neighbours and good friends from over 40 years ago. Our sons were born about 6 weeks apart, and we have always kept in touch.
Our for lunch today to celebrate DS's 40th birthday.
Hope the day goes well for all.

Mapleleaf Sun 03-Mar-19 09:26:02

Good morning.
It's a grey, slightly breezy morning here, but still dry. We are expecting Freya to kick in from about 3pm according to the weather forecast, but we'll see. If it stays reasonably calm, we plan to go out for lunch today. If not, I'll rustle something up from the freezer.
We bought a new outdoor clock yesterday, but will wait until Freya has passed before putting it up, otherwise goodness knows where it will fly too! ?
Enjoy your Sunday, whatever your plans are.

Morning all from a murky South Notts. After a wild and windy night it seems to have calmed down a bit. Puss has just had a mad half hour, I'll be doing my weekly shop later. Hope all is well with you all.

gma Sun 03-Mar-19 09:14:45

Grey and very calm (before the storm?) here in Norwich. A few rain drops on window. Not a soul about!! Will attack loft again today!!! De-cluttering!! Most common phrase heard upstairs.....”why on earth have we been keep this/them” why keep empty damaged suitcases? Boxes full of china and old cutlery? A trip to the charity shop seems likely! Several boxes of old blankets and towels warmly welcomed by local hostel for the homeless.

Mamo Sun 03-Mar-19 09:08:21

Good morning, all! Wind has dropped here in Wicklow, the daffodils are relieved, they took quite a battering! Not sure if Freya has gone away or coming back later today. Quiet day planned as nursing a sore neck and arm. Engrossed in When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanathi....Lamb roast later with some of the family though not DGS ? as he’s visiting the other side! Have a pleasant Sunday everyone

NanKate Sun 03-Mar-19 09:03:11

Morning Mick and All.

Grey and calm in South Bucks.

Very disturbed night with tickly cough, how annoying.

NannyJan you will have to hold a virtual GN Coffee Morning when your kitchen is completed. I do like a slice of coffee and walnut cake ?

Sallyann51 Sun 03-Mar-19 09:00:52

Hi everyone
Wet and windy here in Surrey this morning.
Lazy morning ahead. Visiting DD, DSil and GDS this
Afternoon. Haven’t seen them for 10 days as been away on holiday so looking forward to seeing them all. Big celebration as eldest GD got her first choice of secondary school.

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Raining in Powys

Hope everyone has a good day x

NannyJan53 Sun 03-Mar-19 08:41:00

Good Morning from a grey Black Country, where it is just starting to rain.

Carpenter is coming this morning to complete final measurements for our new kitchen doors, and worktops. Plasterer finished on Friday, so nice clean smooth walls instead of that horrible Anaglypta wallpaper!

Then this afternoon, it is off to order worktops and splashbacks, as Carpenter is supplying the doors.

Enjoy your lunch out kitty

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

Willow10 Sun 03-Mar-19 08:37:07

Good morning all. Very still and quiet here in E. Northants - is this the calm before the (Freya) storm? Was planning to meet youngest son in Northampton, but we'll see how the weather pans out. Keep safe everyone!

Urmstongran Sun 03-Mar-19 08:26:07

Good morning everyone from what appears to be a chillier day here in South Manchester. Spits of rain just started. Husband pleased yesterday as Man Utd won yet another match! That’s 11 wins or something for all who are not interested, like me. He takes our 6y grandson to indoor cricket practice every Sunday afternoon I think they enjoy the time together.
Wishing all of us a pleasant Sunday.

oldgoat Sun 03-Mar-19 08:21:20

greyduster
Will we have the pleasure of your company in York on Friday? It's ages since we saw you.
