Coat hangers in shops ( my reactions must be on several shops' cctv cameras )

Drivers who are not ready to turn left when the traffic light changes to green!

People who are poised to barge into lifts when they stop, apparently unaware that there might well be people coming out!

Issues
Since when did problems become 'issues'?? ?

Granny23 Thu 28-Feb-19 13:07:35

Round Pills OOOOOO which slip out of your hand and roll under a cupboard or down the sink or are magnetically attracted to the one dirty/greasy/wet spot on the counter top.

Why, oh why can all pills not be produced lozenge shaped - just as easy to swallow as round ones and which, if they leap out of the bubble pack, lie still where they fall.

All the needless hugging that goes on in the media! I'm not averse to giving/receiving hugs to or from family and some friends, but you constantly see people on TV hugging people on first meeting. It takes ages eg on chat shows for all to greet each other in this way. Not required. Maybe it's me.

People who say "haitch" instead of "aitch".
People out with children and babies who ignore them because they are on their mobiles.
People who only want to talk about themselves and their lives and when you try to add something about your life they ignore everything you have said and continue their monologue.
I am sure, like other GNers I will be back with more!

NannyG123 Thu 28-Feb-19 13:48:14

People who push in whilst I queue patiently.

KatyK Thu 28-Feb-19 13:48:49

'Touchy' people. For instance people who take offence when you say something perfectly innocent to them.

Benje Thu 28-Feb-19 14:01:45

Bin Manchester traffic fed up with 1.5 he commute for 6 mile journey

sharon103 Thu 28-Feb-19 14:06:13

Liars and self obsessed people.

00mam00 Thu 28-Feb-19 14:07:14

b1zz1e, do what I do when approached by people on a pavement expecting me to step into the road. I stop still in front of them, causing no end of consternation.

I would like to bin my dentist and all her receptionists who have suddenly started talking like kindergarten teachers. I am not a 3 year old and I am not old enough to be spoken to like one.

Men who don’t listen and claim a few days later that they haven’t been told.

notreallyagran Thu 28-Feb-19 14:13:20

Drivers on country roads who crawl around bends for miles, holding everyone up, and then speed up on the straight bits, making overtaking hazardous, if not impossible.

Day6 Thu 28-Feb-19 14:23:09

I was reminded this morning of one horrible thing - people who cough up phlegm and then spit it out on the pavement. Ugh. I'd bin them but make them clean up their mess before they got in.

Sorry for the P word.

gillyknits Thu 28-Feb-19 14:26:33

Drivers who pull out on motorways and fill the space that you have left to keep the right distance from the car in front!

Shirls52000 Thu 28-Feb-19 14:33:03

People who park outside my house but park in such a way that they take up two spaces meaning I can t park there as well ..... pah

Bazza Thu 28-Feb-19 14:39:59

Agree with nearly all of you, but must add people who turn down corners of library books.

Jane10 Thu 28-Feb-19 15:25:13

People who 'hilariously' call me young lady!

Rosiebee Thu 28-Feb-19 15:28:31

The word "like" when used indiscriminately in conversation. It's not just a youth problem. I listened to an expert on something recently and his talk was peppered with the word "like", like. It, like, really grates on me, like. angry Also that habit of using a questioning inflection at the end of nearly every sentence.

grandtanteJE65 Thu 28-Feb-19 15:33:51

Everyone who says f*ck and varieties thereof.

instagran Thu 28-Feb-19 16:00:25

Rascal - sure you don't mean psychlepath?!

Foxyferret Thu 28-Feb-19 16:13:50

Starting every sentence with So, trivial things/achievements being described as awesome, bad manners, people who can’t even go upstairs without their mobile, rude shop assistants, magpies scoffing all the bird seed, Jonathan Ross and that Lemon bloke (forget his Christian name). I could go on and on.

sassenach512 Thu 28-Feb-19 16:17:07

Drivers who overtake a waiting queue of traffic or drive down the hard shoulder and push in at the front. People who let their dogs roam off lead and say "he's friendly" just as he bites a chunk out of my dog's ear (who is on his lead). All those ads for paying for your funeral. Jenny Eclair for that awful ad she's doing, she must be hard up for work these days.

Nannyxthree Thu 28-Feb-19 16:22:24

People who spit in the street as has already been said, but also those who clear their nostrils by blowing down one and holding the other - gross!
Rudeness and general lack of consideration for others.

Ngaio1 Thu 28-Feb-19 16:27:12

The use of "overly". People starting posts with So". Extending dog leads. People stating the obvious. People who sail through a held door without acknowledgment. Bad table manners.

Tinker18 Thu 28-Feb-19 16:31:52

People who walk in the road rather than on the pavement, even worse when they are pushing a pushchair.

pce612 Thu 28-Feb-19 17:06:02

Ask the dispensing chemist to put them into a container that you can open or get someone to open it and then decant into another container, just make sure it is kept out of the way of children.
