A slogan that means nothing!

Yes, it could well mean 5% or 'barely noticeable'.

One slogan I find stupidly irritating lately is the Clarks one for children's shoes. 'Born unique, stay unique.'

What on earth has that got to do with shoes you can buy in umpteen different shops?
I wonder how much they paid someone to dream up that piece of daftness?

Though having said that, we still took Gdd to Clarks last week, for 2 new pairs of shoes!

Not a slogan that means nothing but one I hate, is the one for a car that features a lady with a pet big cat (can’t remember what)

It would be illegal to take a wild cat out onto the streets in the UK even on a chain, which it doesn’t have in the ad. Of course we all know that it is only meant to be symbolic but it annoys me as do most adverts - if I want to watch something on ITV I usually record it and then fast forward through the ads.

And sadly ‘no deal is better than a bad deal’.
I bought that one at the GE.
More fool me.

A digression from the OP's question but I can sometimes watch an ad and have no idea what it is trying to sell! There is one which has me completely baffled - I think it is advertising a new phone or tablet.
