Indeed when you see such pics of these youngsters life becomes one big smile,thank you all for the pleasant interludes you bring us........whether a toothless grin ........or not!

Whilst our Soop continues on her long journey home, I can get back to the kitchen and those that are struggling big time.
Of course I think very much of you Synonymous and your dear man,facing a very great ordeal,and again following on what has already been a long nightmare for the both of you.
Please be assured you are in our thoughts and prayers,as you face each new part leading up to the big `op.

It seems family concerns continue to be a real buggeration Cornergran,unfortunately these are the sort that can only go on and on for an age,not easy to sit back with it all happening round and about you....al though you really need to take good care of yourself........and of course Mr C.
Sounds as though your break was just the sort needed to help you on your way just a little.

Sadly, it seems my poor man and his ongoing pains have no end in sight Dragonfly, now that both the inflammatory drug Naproxen, and the latest in the line of painkillers Eroset, have both been ruled out because of his blood thinning drugs since the stroke.
Where oh! where is he to go from here ? It really is holding back his recovery from his stroke......and that is my greatest fear.

When hearing a tragedy such has befallen NZ somehow our own problems seem to lessen.We live in a wicked world on times.

Hurrah! I am so pleased I have managed to squeeze a second visit, as I am well and truly struggling to keep abreast with you all right now,these trips I have to the Hospital........although a short drive away...........really eat up into my day,the sooner the time is all mine the happier I shall be.

With young Wolfie smiling happily at bath time popping in just as I leave, you can bet I have a large smile on my face Kitty.............He certainly is a happy chappie!!

Wolfie is squishable but apparently too equitable. However, he is too young for solids - so don't tell anyone that he is enjoying sweet potato, avocado, spinach and banana to date!! He's a giggler too!!

It was one of his doting aunts who christened him 'sturdy' but I like 'well made' better n&g!

Good to hear that Soop and MacS had a well earned pit stop on the way home. I hope they are hunkered down with their feet well and truly up by now.

We have had a fairly unproductive day today. I went out to buy a couple of crew neck sweaters at my usual outlet and discovered that they are now only making them for gorillas, not little old ladies. Fortunately, the outlet I was in was attached to a very large garden centre so I quashed my disappointment by buying some more plants for my new rock garden. It was not a day for a garden centre though - the wind was playing havoc with all the plants and the staff were struggling to keep on top of it all! They will have a lot of casualties I fear. It was even too windy to go for a walk this afternoon, so all in all, I have done next to nowt! It is sod’s law that the wind has dropped completely now.

Loads more different tests done so now we wait again. We are hopefull that it will be a BTKnee op but there was nobody there to get a definitive reading of the MRI. The anaethetist said that the report did state that the 20 cms required BTK was clear of infection which he thought was positive so we are holding on to that! I had to laugh as he also asked if Himself wanted the score rate for survival to which he gave a very definite NO! Sounded just like DS when he was asked if he wanted curry sauce on his chips! Sheer horror! No date yet but hope it will be very soon- just want it done and dusted.
We have just got home and are exhausted, Himself is pretty quiet and I think we will try for a very early night as we just need to cuddle down together.
So sorry that this is such a 'me and mine' post - too tired to do any more than this and just wanted to say thank you. X

marydoll what an unpleasant experience for your DGD. Hope her breathing is better soon.
Sorry for your DH panache. Living with pain is very debilitating. Hope they find some medication he can take soon. Try not to worry (hard though it is) you need to keep your strength up for your own problems. Wish I could wave a magic wand and make you both better.
Hope the scan results for your DH are good synonymous. It must be a worrying time for you both. Sleep well.

We had an estate agent round this afternoon and suddenly it’s all very real. My mind is in overdrive again. Photographs to be taken this week, so there is added impetus to the tidying up! A car-full to the charity shop should make a big difference but next week is already looking busy. We have seen a house we like, so need to get this on the market soon.
Charlie Cat is keeping me company - I think he is hoping for an early breakfast ?.
