Always a warm hearted and uplifting welcome awaits and whatever your difficulties, you leave fully enrapped in the warmth of Soop`s Kitchen with a smile and hope in your heart.
Happy birthday Panache! Hope you have a wonderful day! ????
I jush popping home to make more jellies.....Proshecho next for Maws game.....mist pace ourselves to last the day!
Happy birthday Panache. And best wishes to Mr P - hoping he is responding to treatment.
I am pleased to report Molly has gone "out to play" this morning.
She had a few false starts but eventually went.
I have hesitated to share some good news as so many people have problems but I have been informed that Adult Social care are paying the top up fees for my H, so I am £100 a week better off.
This is a huge weight off my mind.
Also my S is decorating for me, the house has been neglected on the updating side for years.
My H never wanted any work done and didn't want people in.
I like the sound of the Prosseco game, I will be along shortly.
Happy Birthday Panache ???
ann that is such good news! What a weight off your mind.
ann never be afraid to share good news too. So pleased to hear you’re having some help with the fees. You deserve some good news ?
Dear Panache many many happy returns and congratulations on your 80th. ?
maw I love your idea of a party game. Let’s get started now ??
ann that is definitely good news because £100 a week will make a big difference to you.
Pleased to hear that Molly is exploring the great outdoors again but I am sure she will remain close to the house.
I am sure there will be takers for my share of the Prosecco because I do not like it.
How lovely to have celebrations in the kitchen!
Happy birthday Panache!
And also
Ann so pleased that you are getting the top up fees paid! That will make such a difference to you as will getting some decorating done!
Had a surprise during the night as when I looked out of the window we had a light covering of snow - not a sign of it this morning thankfully. Himself thinks I was hallucinating!
Whey!!!! What on earth has happened to our Kitchen?!
I am truly overwhelmed.Thank you all so very much for your cards and lovely kind gestures.
I am absolutely gobsmacked big time and let me tell you my dear GN friends that hardly ever happens!!!
Of course the marvellous effort and contributions from banners, cakes, vodka jelly to bubbly and prosecco truly has me in a right tizzle..........and as yet I haven`t tasted anything ............which I am about to rectify big time!!
I had been feeling somewhat flat and here on my lonesome, but then on walking into Soop`s Kitchen I find you all happily thinking of me...........of us......and preparing the biggest hula!
I am on cloud nine and now with Birthday cards decorating home too I can really get "in the mood" and I am wondering what is best to wear to compliment the lovely fluffy scarf?
I echo Soop`s description of you lot you are truly the best and I cannot thank you enough thinking and reaching out to us as you have done in these hours of need since Christmas...............without a doubt You lot are simply great.
After visiting my dear man and sharing all this with him in Hospital. I have a feeling this too will lift his morale sky high.I shall then return dressed up to the nines to join in with you all and yes, let the party swing.
We too had big plans for both our Golden Wedding anniversary and for my 80th, but sadly yet again they have gone astray.........so I hope Soop your 80th birthday plans will reach fruition...........no further buggerations for you after this lot you are now ploughing through.
Long live this Kitchen and the wonderful members who tread the floor daily...............I shall soon be back, but for now I will help myself to a few slurps of vodka jelly........just to set me on the right road you understand!!!!!
Get partying!!!!
Synonymous apparently many parts of the country had a light covering of snow and some were filmed on BBC 1 this am.
Happy birthday Panache
With regard to sticks, I’ve had both hips done ( one twice ) and I use black carbon fibre crutches which are very light to use.
On this auspicious occasion I'd like to wish you, Panache, a very Happy Birthday. Another milestone reached ! xx Brilliant.
Whey good to see you Panache I hope Mr Panache is also in good spirits when you see him.
Ann that is wonderful news. What a weight off your mind. We have to have good news here to balance the not so good. Every little helps as they say. Pleased Molly is also getting back to normal after her ordeal.
I have left some non-alcoholic wine on the side for those of us who have to be abstemious and some Twiglets.
Galen I have been trying unsuccessfully to teach some of -this lot- which hand to use the stick in but to no avail- stubborn does not come into it. They are fortunate I do not live closer!
Penblwydd Hapus! Panache belated behind some of the GN's I know but I hung back as I thought with what had gone before, a little savoury might go down well at lunchtime. So I've brought a couple of quiches, some sausage rolls and a smoked salmon with cream cheese and biscuits. Oh and some red and white for those of us not keen on the fizzy! Enjoy your special day!
A wonderful, FUN birthday to our dear Panache. I've a few gallons bottles of bubbly chilling. I'm not a great cook (she says modestly) but I have attempted to make a stand-by birthday cake. It's an odd shape,
but will help to feed the hoards of Granspals barging into the kitchen.

ann three hearty cheers for your much deserved good news. Bloody brilliant and about time too.
We had a cat visitore again last night. We were like two giggly kids as he/she polished off a dish of high quality cat biscuits.
Hospital have phoned this morning. We return to the Vale of Leven tomorrow afternoon. I'm to have pre-op assessment. Surgery scheduled for either the 13th or 20th.
The sun has got his hat on. It's a glorious day.
Panache Brace yourself! Us lot have organised a surprise treat for you. Later today you may be entertained by a quartet of young, handsome fellows. One will dance. One will sing. One will wait on you hand and foot. It's up to you what you use the fourth for.
ann, what excellent news! Calls for
, whatever you choose. xxx
I bags dancing on the table top in celebration of Panache's birthday. Only trouble is, I may have some trouble getting there and, once in situ, it will be an awful faff to get me off. Who's for karioke? Is that even the right spelling. Who cares...come on you lot gather round and take it in turns to serenade Panache. I shall sing...'Roll out the Barrel'...always goes down well with a rowdy background and the sound of Champagne corks popping.
Happy Birthday Panache

dragonfly I absolutely love twiglets. I never have them (well hardly ever) because once I start I can’t stop. I am just enjoying one now (have already ate loads) ? of course they make me thirsty so I have been partaking of a glass or two of bubbly. Yes I know it’s a bit early but it’s party all day today.
Come on panache. Let’s play maw’s game. We all have a big drink then I’ll go out of the room and try and remember who I am...no that’s not it ..you all go out of the room and I come and find you... not that’s not it either. I know let’s just have another ? while we work it out ?.
I’ve put aside a plate of goodies for MrP so that he can join in too. Hope all this merriment lifts his spirits and brings him home safely soon. ?
Ooh sausage rolls eilyann another of my favourites ?
soop a quartet of young handsome men. How exciting....I might just pop home and change into something a bit more glamorous ?
soop please take care on that table (you’re not in the Argy you know) come on everyone, sing along. ??????
