Oh it sounds horribly painful!
Shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, I know, but why not buy one of those gripper things to pick items up?

Managed to lose my balance in son’s utility room earlier today, fell over and broke my right shoulder. This is the second time I’ve done this albeit last time was in 2008. I’ll have to wear a collar/cuff sling for up to 6 weeks confused. I’m blaming my bp meds for the fall, last time it was checked I had a reading of 77/44! I queried this but GP said it was in acceptable range. Hmm. I had bent over 4 times this morning just after getting up to pick up slippers, etc from my case (we were staying with ds/dil) so think my head being lower than my heart 4 times in rapid succession plus just getting up from the horizontal caused my fall. Not a happy bunny on several levels.
