Morning Mick, morning All from a dark and damp corner of Somerset. Little sleep so likely to be a grumpy day in corner-land. Enjoy browsing and planning Mick. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Good Evening Mick; Has been another lovely day again in Melb. 28C No wind, no rain. As I said yesterday, love to hear about your W10 probs. Maw said (23/1/19) that you'd be glad to give us the "low-down" as to what was wrong, even if only to guide us. Look forward to it! Take care!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Still dark in South Yorkshire. I have been awake since half past three! Junior football this morning. I am leafing through my “thousand and one excuses not to go to junior football” book as we speak. Have a good day folks.

Morning Mick and everyone. Didn't sleep much due to a very stormy night here on South Welsh coast.

Not going to do much today, will cook a pork dinner later, so am off to clean some veg and do some apple sauce. Dil has offered to do a dessert, or as DS wrote yesterday " a desert " so my answer was " Gobi or Sahara ?" ?
Have a peaceful day everyone.

Morning Mick and All.

Still so dark in Sussex. Can hear DGSs moving about peace and quiet for just a few minutes longer.

Greyduster do so feel for you, I have been in that position. I sometimes feel the start of hypothermia when I am being battered by wind and rain on the pitch ?

Our boys now have a small goal post (don’t ask why) in their living room to practise, so there is no getting away from the footie.

Off to the local NT property for lunch with the family, it’s due to rain but that won’t stop us. Looking forward to returning home to normality tomorrow, but we have had fun.

Good morning from a wild and windy Birmingham. There is a very dramatic gold, grey and silver sky, with clouds racing across it. I’m drinking my morning tea in bed at my partner’s house. Coffee with friends later, then my prodigal son is coming to lunch.
Enjoy planning your trips, Michael! Have a good day everyone.

Unfortunately can't see me doing the Bird Watch again today due to the inclement weather, think it was poor weather last year too.

Gagagran Sun 27-Jan-19 07:46:17

Morning all! Sorry if I've disturbed you with my hacking cough - I've certainly disturbed myself.

Not sure what the weather will do today but it feels cooler and it is windy here on the south coast.

I have had this lurgy for 7 days now so hope it is thinking of moving on like the old saying about a cold lasting 7 days if you treat it and a week if you don't.

Hope the day is kind to us all.

Good morning all. We had a very wet night in East Northants, I hope it dries up long enough for me to do a bit of shopping today and maybe have a coffee. Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning from Moseley!
Weather looks a bit grim but I think attendance at an under 7’s football match might feature today . ⚽️ mad DGS is a bit of a wee star! He and his teammate friends were the mascots at yesterday’s Bromsrove v. ? match yesterday (and they won)

Good morning from Versailles
Slept like a log Gagaran, your cough didn't disturb so don't worry but have it checked out. Going to the cinema later to see The Green Book anyone else going?
Enjoy your day everyone

Good morning from a wet, windy Colchester. Looks like another staying in day. Tennis on TV this morning and Sunday roast later... that'll do!

oldgaijin Sun 27-Jan-19 08:09:40

Greetings all from a wet and blustery Aberdeenshire. It's not light yet and the rain is battering the windows.
Kitchen cupboard tidying today as I have to make room for my daughter's baking and store cupboard stuff which I shall inherit when they move abroad. Apart from that, a quiet, lazy day. Don't get too cold Greyduster, or you may succumb to the lurgy that is going round.
Have a happy day everyone.

Good morning Michael, Annie and all. Another disturbed night here, but caused by a very sore arm from my vaccination yesterday. Took more paracetamol at 2.30am and slept a bit, but the soreness is still in and around my shoulder blade. Hoping it will go later today.
It has been raining here overnight, but I think is clearing a bit now.
Church after breakfast, then a lazy day with a good book.
Have a good day one and all.

Good morning everyone.

Damp and windy in Kent, with rain forecast to return. Grayduster I've done the standing on the touch line many a time but DH and children a played with the different shaped ball.

Good morning all from the Scottish Borders.
The wind is getting up.
The squirrels have eaten all the fat balls from the cage intended to attract tits. Do squirrels count as birds during the bird watch weekend?

Good morning from a very windy North Shropshire.Had planned a walk at the local National Trust property today but it is closed because of the high winds so will just take the day as it comes.Having our haggis supper tonight as my husband was working Friday night.

Good morning to all from a dry Fife, first for ages and so odd to see first thing in the morning. Later up today, could not sleep last night for some reason. Household chores today, taking my time for a change and hopefully not clock watching. For those feeling under the weather look after yourselves. Hope all have a good day.

Good Morning from a wet and windy Black Country.

Had a brilliant time last night at a 60's/70's fancy dress party!
Consequently, not long woken up.

Ordering floor tiles for the kitchen today, not much else planned.

Have a good day everyone.

mumofmadboys Sun 27-Jan-19 08:43:41

Morning all. Not looked out at the weather yet! Need to get up though! Walk our old dog and church this morning. Bridge match this evening. Happy Sunday to all!

kittylester Sun 27-Jan-19 08:44:43

Morning all from a very bright North Leicestershir. It was very windy overnight but seems to have calmed down now.

They don't warn you about the grandchildren playing football as well do they, gd.

We are off out for breakfast to kill time till the shops open. We've just had a new chair in the playroom which now means we need a new coffee table and shelving.

dragonfly46 Sun 27-Jan-19 08:46:29

Good Morning from a bright sunny Leicestershire.
Sorry for all who had a bad night.
Will visit mum today and go for a walk.
