Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark but its dry here in brackley this morning.
My usual Saturday , with bus travel to Buckingham and Bicester.
I am hoping that the flea market is on in Buckingham , although its only there for up to 4 hours between 10 and 2pm , stallholders vary , and rain can stop stall holders from doing a full time slot.

Morning, Mick and all who follow.
Woke up at 5.45 and couldn't get back off to sleep so went downstairs to make some tea, so thought I'd post whilst drinking it.
It's still dark, of course, but mild. The birds have woken up and are chirping away. It's the big garden birdwatch this weekend so I will do my count tomorrow.
Off to the panto thus afternoon. It's done every year by an amateur dramatics group in a small town nearby. They are very good, and it's been lovely watching the little ones in the production growing up over the years and still showing an interest in the theatre.
I went to a funeral yesterday and I've never attended one with so many there. There must have been over 200 people. She was a lovely, kind hearted lady who touched a lot of people in her life.
Hope today is kind to you all. ?

Good Evening Mick; Just back from my Australia Day shop. Very warm 33C and very quiet. Everybody must have been snoozing off their BBQ lunch.
Hope your Win10 is performing well. Don't forget my post of yesterday: I'd love to "hear" how you get on with it and what interests you follow.
Have a good day and take care on those icy roads. Cheers

Good Morning all
It’s still very dark here but lovely that it was still light at 5pm yesterday.
I did quite a bit of work in the garden and it’s housework this morning.

Enjoy your day everyone ?

Good morning everyone
It's a little warmer today 8c so all this week's snowfall has disappeared, thank goodness.
Have a nice day and take care.

Morning everyone.

Still dark but it's quiet mild in Kent.
A landmark birthday for me today, it means I will get my state pension in May.
DH cooking rump steak tonight and there may be a bottle or two involved.
Enjoy your days.

God morning all. It is dry so far today. Going for a walk with friends.

Happy Birthday Nina

Good Morning from Surrey. I wish I didn’t always wake so early, it’s still so dark outside. However I count my blessings and it’s so nice to read greetings from everyone near and far. I have a grand daughter’s 4th birthday party to go to tomorrow, and I have another little grand daughter here today to mind for a while. I really mean it when I say I feel blessed because they both lived overseas until recently and when they lived so far away I missed this day to day contact which gives me such joy.

Morning Mick and All.

A very happy birthday to you Nina. I will toast you tonight.

Just waiting for the 2 DGSs to burst in and the day will officially begin ?

Dark and cold in Sussex.

Good morning all from a dark and mild (ish) North Leicestershire.

Many happy Returns nina - aren't you young!! Have a super day.

Making brunch for the football fans this morning after a trip to the florist and then tv catching up this afternoon sitting in the new chair in the playroom! brew

Good Morning all from a mild, dark and damp south coast.

I was awake coughing and blowing my sinuses inside out ( it felt like!) from 2am-4am and again at 6am when I staggered downstairs for some tea. This lurgy is a horrible one.

Keep well everyone.

Morning all,
Not posted before, but have read about all the goings on for a while.
Still dark here in Surrey, not usually up this early but couldn’t sleep, so making a cup of tea.
Off to feed my daughters cat later as they are away for the weekend. Looking forward to seeing them all tomorrow.

Good morning everyone from a damp Wicklow. Heading to the midlands shortly to take part in a choral workshop for the day with several choirs, followed by dinner and dancing tonight and a performance tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. DH is very sorry for himself with a head cold and being left behind to mind our dog and visitor doghmm who’s quite a handful. Have a good day all!

Good morning, Mick and all. I like the sound of your flea market, Mick.
Happy birthday, nina! ??. I hope you have a lovely day.
Welcome to the thread, Sallyann, you are most welcome
and enjoy your party Susan
Commiserations to all who are feeling unwell,
I'm having a quiet day today after a lovely, but tiring day at the Edinburgh meet up, I'm all "talked out".
Enjoy your Saturday, everyone.

boheminan Sat 26-Jan-19 07:43:26

Good morning all. I thought I'd join in this dawn chorus for the first time. Thanks for reminding me about the birdwatch - yet again time to count the pigeons in the park!

Cloud seems to be lifting in this Oxford neck of the woods

Good morning from East Northants. Welcome Sallyann and happy birthday Nina! Did a bit of wallpapering at the top of the staircase yesterday and I'm very pleased with it. Now looking for a full length mirror to go at the bottom of the stairs. Youngest son calling in for lunch and a catchup after work. Have a good Saturday everyone!

Brunette10 Sat 26-Jan-19 07:50:56

Morning Mick, morning All from our milder but irritatingly damp corner of Somerset, drizzly rain. Food shop once I stir then a chat with a neighbour. Happy birthday nina, enjoy your day. Hope Saturday is kind to everyone.

Good morning Micheal and everyone from a damp, grey, but mild Birmingham. No hospital today ( I get the weekends off.) I slept like a log last night, which was surprising, because I slept most of yesterday too! I’m hoping I’ll feel a bit livelier today, as I need to buy a birthday present for my son in law and drop it off. I’ll go to my partner’s this evening for dinner and tv - we’ve saved up “Les Miserables.”
Happy Birthday Nina, I hope the flea market has some treasures, Micheal, and I hope Annie is feeling ok this morning.

aggie Sat 26-Jan-19 08:03:32

Morning All , dark and damp again , still mild , I stepped out the patio doors in my bare feet to check why the security light was on , and found out pretty quick that it is the rain ! Feet wet but not cold , how weird , in January , is that ?

oldgaijin Sat 26-Jan-19 08:05:38

Good morning all from a very dark Aberdeenshire. Even the thousands of roosting crows in the forest aren't up yet. There is thick haar and it is peeing with rain.
Had a delightful birthday lunch for a friend yesterday with delicious food and much hilarity. Ninathenana, I hope the day brings forth cake and bubbles.
Must rise as I have yet another man coming to quote for a new fence...the previous one was far too expensive, £1200!!
Enjoy your day everybody.
