Good morning,
A cloudy morning with the odd glimpse of sunshine, but the clouds are getting denser so I suspect the sun won't be shining much longer.
Got some bills to pay today, then back to some ironing.
Hope you have a nice day. ?

Good Morning from a dull , dry, still , Co Armagh . Still in PJs . I was called in to play on the bowls team last night shock so I have aches and pains in odd places , I haven't played for a couple of years , but joined in the Christmas Round Robin , so must have been " spotted " It was great , we won too ! , bit of a let down coming in to an empty house , no one to boast too , but I certainly slept well and feel all the better for it . I have promised to join in the fun bowls and be a reserve smile

I'm a bit late but at least it's still morning. The sun is shining here in the East Midlands after a murky start.
Best of luck Urmstongran with the diet, I won't let on!
Three things to cope with - a leak under the kitchen sink, burglar alarm has developed a buzz and the MOT is due. All arranged this morning but damn and blast - the expense!
I'm not low-spirited though - it must be the blue sky!

Good morning all. Been clearing up after all the wind and sorting pots for planting. Everyone stops to chat when I am in the garden so it takes three times as long to get things done - which is why I like it, so sociable and I don’t need to tidy myself up! Now for brunch.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel slightly embarrassed by Andy Murrays interview with regard to him maybe about to play in his last professional tournament

Urmstongran Fri 11-Jan-19 12:59:03

Not embarrassed about A.M’s interview. It’s obviously been a very emotional decision for him. One he has reluctantly had to concede to. Hence his tears. Poor man, what angst.

Good Morning all you sweet people. I'm not usually up this early 7:28, but I'm volunteering today and every Friday at the airport Military Welcome Center. It is still dark here in Oklahoma USA and 7C. I'm wearing my long underwear today. I'll hug all the troops for y'all. Have a good day!

Had the chimney swept first thing and he had his daughter with him ... she’s learning the trade... and I was very pleased for her as her elder brother had turned the opportunity down... I thought good girl ... is that patronising???

Morning Mick and All

Missed my usual log in as I had a blood test and woke up a bit late so it was a scramble.

Lovely and sunny in South Bucks.

Think of you and yours today Kitty.

I’m intrigued Mary with your ‘ruthless clearout’?

Annie Spring isn’t far away when they are new beginnings.

Off to the local Amateur Dramatics to see Treasure Island tonight, what fun.
