Good morning from a bright, cold Colchester. No frost but it has certainly dropped a few degrees.
I am still suffering from a sinusy cold.
Decorations need to come down today as two sets of lights blew yesterday. A good excuse for new next Christmas.

Quiet clear day in the Scottish Borders. We are both almost over our colds at long last and had a lovely walk and a visit to the in-laws.
Saw the Favourite yesterday and agree about Olivia Colman's acting MawBroon
Good wishes DoraMarr at the hospital. Its nice to be on holiday from all that until next week.

Good morning to all. I can see some blue sky here in the East Midlands which is lovely after a few murky days. Must get some chores done today - still a bit throaty which is annoying, but it will run its course, I expect.

Morning all, from a very frosty but super sunny West Cheshire.
We had a really thick frost last night, but it's vanishing quickly in the sunshine! The back garden fences are steaming merrily away!
Just having a break from dismantling decs, I'm sure it wasn't such a big job when we were younger!
It'll be nice to get back to normal, or what passes for normal in this house!

Good Morning all , still in PJs , last lot of family set off for the boat earlier , so it is very quiet now

Another lovely morning on the Malvern Hills.
But dreading the snow and ice, it means we’ll be
stranded up here until it thaws??

Good morning GNs, from the very bright and sunny Morecambe Bay area of Lancashire. We've a hard frost with a beautiful clear day. Later I'm off to see a friend for a cuppa, while DH goes to a U3A group. Happy Wednesday, everyone.

Lovely walk with my dog on the beach this beautiful January morning, very cold but blue sky. Five ships on the horizon, checked site upon return, all at anchor and Liverpool bound bar 1 SOW bound.

Morning all, from a cold, dull, Hampshire.
Just got in from taking Dog out, another chores day! That is if I can manage to get myself out of the chair after having my lovely morning coffee, with a piece of Shortbread yum yum!
Take care and hope you all have a good day, especially those feeling poorly or awaiting results??

A bit late in the day but good day to you all. I had such a stressful day yesterday and a very early start to make a day trip to my see my daughter and persuade her that she really needs to turn the heating on. It took its toll on me and I slept like the dead until about 10 this morning. Been relaxing taking down the few Christmas decorations and going out for lunch as its such a lovely bright cold day here. Take care everyone and hope all improves for those having a bad time of it.
