Good evening from Sydney, Australia. Thankfully not so hot today, but still sitting with the air con on. No plans for tonight.

It's dark and mild here on the south coast and set to remain mild over the next day or so. Suits me just fine!

We don't take part in New Year celebrations but will take the decs. down today or tomorrow. Nothing else much planned. No doubt something will turn up.

Dark, still, overcast and mild here in the north of Norfolk.

We may go for a birding walk this morning as we’ve nothing else planned.

Morning all from North Leicestershire where it is dry and dark.

Up and off this morning as DH has a biopsy at 9.30.

Assuming DH feels ok, we are going to the theatre this afternoon and then home for a nice meal before watching the television until bedtime.

Good morning all from a wet Glasgow.

We have DGD unexpectedly today, as DIL "forgot to tell" us that she and DS are working. We have had to change our plans, but as we love having DDG to bits, we don't mind.
I'm sitting here freezing with wet hair, DH forgot to adjust the heatting for DGD coming, so the house is freezing and something is wrong with the hot water. .

DGD will be demand pamcakes with SULTANAS for breakfast, so I had better get cooking.

Off out to pick up prescriptions and a wee bit of supermarket shopping.

Kitty, best wishes for your husband's appointment today.

Good morning everyone. Dry and very mild in East Northants. Son was not well enough to go to Coventry yesterday so I had a nice walk into the high street and replenished Christmas card stocks and gift tags in the sales. First time I've ever planned so far ahead! Visit to Waitrose this morning for coffee and bits. Family are all ailing with one thing and another so I'm keeping well away! Happy, Healthy and peaceful New Year to everyone.

Good Morning from a dry Fife. till dark outside but it looks pleasant enough. Have a busy day to day going over to the capital to return a gift which docent suit. Steak pie all made in preparation for tomorrow's feast with the family. Not a New Year fan but still like our tradition of a steak pie meal which I have carried on from my mum. I hope today is good for everyone for those feeling under the weather - take care.

DGDs arriving in about an hour as mum and dad are back to work. Luckily they are the age now where they can amuse themselves for some time.

Nothing special planned for New Year's Eve or tomorrow; may open a bottle of fizz tonight and watch the fireworks on tv.

Good morning from a dry and very mild Birmingham. I woke up late this morning! Two of my daughters and their little daughters are coming today. We’ll have a walk in the park, then lunch here, so I will have to go shopping for bread etc. I’ll probably spend NYE on my own, with an Italian film- it’s become a bit of a tradition.

I forgot to wish everyone well today. Micheal, I have some bills to pay too- but what a sense of satisfaction when it’s done!

Happy new year to one and all. Hope DH's biopsy goes smoothly Kitty. I have had to cancel my new year plans as I am ill. Friends were coming to stay and we had a table booked. Instead another day on the couch for me.

I shall have a brief trip to the supermarket for fresh produce, first time since the 22nd. DH has topped up bread and milk when he has bought a newspaper. Coffee and cake at sister's this afternoon.
kitty hope the biopsy goes well, do not want to say too much but DH found it traumatic, he may need some TLC.
