Good morning Mick and all who follow from a wet Glasgow. it's 9 degrees, which is better than the freezing fog we have had recently.

I have an early medical appointment in town, so up at the crack of dawn. I'm not looking forward to it at all.

On the plus side, DH as suggested I have a wander arounf the sales afterwards. He hates the sales, so he is obviously trying to cheer me up. grin.

To all all who are poorly, flowers and those travelling home or going to visit family, have a safe journey.

Good morning Mick, It's very cold here in Versailles 0°c but I'm making my way to the airport to fly to ... Manchester and then onto Lytham 10°c to visit my DD. smile

It's been hot and humid where I am and really sweaty pulling up some long-established, rather tough weeds. It's mid-evening now and has cooled down a bit. By the time bed time comes it will probably be a pleasantly cool temperature. Looking forward to it – it's been a busy day!

Good morning all!

North Leicestershire is dark but mildish. Lots of visitors expected over the weekend so lots to do A Sainsbury's shop is first on the list - after unpacking and putting a wash on.

Enjoy your days everyone. Hope your appointment goes well Mary.

Good morning from North Devon where it was so mild and sunny yesterday that all household jobs were abandoned for a walk and lunch outside on the beach. Cloudy today though so now have to catch up with the chores.
Good luck to Marydoll and all who have medical appointments today.

Good Morning to all from a dark Fife. Not sure what the weather is, it's too dark at the moment. Didn't have good night's sleep, think I ate too much again yesterday. Just not used to so much food. Was thinking of going across to Edin but DH isn't feeling great so will wait and see what the day brings. Hope everyone is Ok.

Good morning from Colchester where it is a few degrees cooler than the rest of the country. There is damp in the air too...yuk.
Waiting for 3 year old DGS to arrive for day as his parents are back to work.

Morning Mick, morning All from a dark and dismal corner of Somerset. Yesterday’s glimmer of sunshine has left so it’s a grey day for us. Trying to get back to normal today, a tidying and admin day. Quite looking forward to it. Wishing you well mary and anyone else with medical stuff to manage. Hope Friday is kind to everyone.

Morning All

Grey and still in the north of Norfolk. It matches the feeling of being in limbo which I always get between Christmas and New Year.

Off to do a stint of standing in a darkened NT stately home today. Hopefully to meet loads of interesting people to raise my spirits.

Good luck Marydoll.

Still quite dark outside here in Letchworth, but i think it is dry and feels a bit chilly as the heating hasn't kicked in yet. I am off to see Mary Poppins with my daughter a bit later this morning so looking forward to that. On my way back will pop to supermarket for some milk, a fresh loaf and some salad bits that need topping up. Marydoll hope all goes well at the GP's.

Good morning everyone from Essex by the sea, nearly light but very damp and grey looking. A visit to Waitrose this morning to buy some goodies to take to DD2 tomorrow. My two daughters plus husbands and 5 granddaughters will all be under one roof, can't wait to see them all. A second Christmas Day for us all.
Nothing planned after shopping today, OH still can't walk far so will catch up with some tv and reading.
Have a good day everyone.

Morning Mick and All

Not sure of what the temperature is like outside here in West Sussex. Last calm day before the DGSs return.

If I am up to it we are off to Hove and a walk along the seafront to Brighton.

Hope your hospital appointment goes well Mary and you get in a bit of shopping too.

Good morning from my usual Northampton again. Came home yesterday so DD and her DH could have an evening to themselves before they set out to visit DSIL's family tonight.

DGDs arriving at 9.30, then DD picking us up so we can go and watch her riding lesson (and have hot chocolate and cake!).

DDIL picking girls up 4pm and taking me to Cattery to retrieve cats from their Christmas holidays - hope they'll be speaking to me!

Hope the day is good for all.

Good morning from Welling.
Dry and dull here!
Driving the rest of the way home here with grand Dog!

Willow10 Fri 28-Dec-18 08:18:01

Good morning from a dry, mild East Northants. Nothing much to get excited about in the sales yesterday so at least my bank card was grateful! Not sure what today will bring, but hope it's a good one for all.

Good morning all x

Grey light here in SE Essex.

Hope your H is on the mend SAR53,

Off to middle S and DiL’s today, (your neck of the woods Sar53) for delayed Boxing Day, 3 AC and other halves along with my sister and brother in law and 4 GC. Should be a noisy and fun filled day!!!!

Wishing you a fabulous Friday ?

Good morning, seems to be cooler here on the NE coast but not frosty.
Appointment with practice nurse that was arranged after raised BP at a hospital appointment. I should have been seen a month ago but the nurse rescheduled because she wasn't well. She said she was too busy, just as well it wasn't critical.
It will be my first time out of the house since Christmas day.

Grammaretto Fri 28-Dec-18 08:30:22

Good morning from the Scottish Borders. It's just getting lighter here but no sign of the sun. More family arrived yesterday.
Good luck with the medical apps Marydoll and anyone else who is poorly.

DoraMarr Fri 28-Dec-18 08:40:10

Good morning from Birmingham, where it appears, from my window, to be fairly bright and mild. I slept late this morning after a busy few days, so now have to get my skates on and prepare lunch for daughter number three, son in law, granddaughter number one and my son. We’ll have a walk in the park too.

Anniebach Fri 28-Dec-18 08:47:52

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

I have my third meeting with the EMDR therapist today, apprehensive, it can now become distressing.

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good Morning from a mild Black Country.

Not long woken up! Probably as Partner is off work and we do not have to be out of the house for 7am.

Not sure what the plans for today are, probably a walk, then start to think about packing for our trip to Lincolnshire on Sunday. So looking forward to spending New Year with my friend who moved there 15 months ago.

I had a cat as a child BlueSapphire and when we came back from holiday, she used to great us, then promptly turn her back on us for a while smile

Five granddaughters under one roof should be fun Sar53. I have four and it is always 'lively' when they all get together!

Hope everyone has a good day, and good luck with the medical appointment Marydoll

NfkDumpling Fri 28-Dec-18 09:18:12

Good Luck Annie.

Greetings from a damp Aberdeenshire...so good to be home in my own bed. The sky is clear so it looks to be a decent day..
First job is to clear all the broken glass in the greenhouse after last week's storm, then a food shop.
Am coming to terms with my only daughter and family moving to Singapore for three years...I shall miss them all, especially my grandchildren...Shall I see them again?
Have a good day, all.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining in York this morning and we are preparing to leave DS’s to go home. We have already disrupted the household by turning the house upside down looking for DH’s glasses which were in his pocket!!! Well, wha’d’ya know?? In the meantime he spilled coffee all over the carpet. They are escorting us to the door as we speak!? have a good day folks!
