Good evening the kitchen. School run completed and despite the dark, a switchback country road and the scariest roundabout in the city at rush hour, we got there and back in one piece. DH said the car seat was more comfortable than anything he had sat in all day and asked if I would bring his supper out to him as he didn’t want to leave it!
Soop I hope MacS’s rash is something that can be named and treated. Is it making him uncomfortable or is it just unsightly? A friend of mine had something similar that remained unnamed, untreated and a puzzle to the medics for some time - and then went away on its own.
Izabella your CH’s bread sounds lovely. It would have gone down well with DH’s disasterous soup which we had for supper. It wasn’t bad at all really, in spite of all the wailing and gnashing of teeth!
I stupidly involved myself in overseeing GS’s homework project after school today. It was doomed from the start. He had left his geometry set at school, so he had to resort to drawing round a dinner plate to get a circle, which then had to be divided into six sections, but the only protractor he could find was in two pieces and all the numbers had just about worn off!! Sixty degrees? Forget it! Will you settle for seventy instead? But he did a decent job in spite of that. Then he read the brief again and discovered that it had to be done on a sheet of A4 and he had started on A3. Back to the drawing board. None of DD’s plates fitted an A4 sheet, so we had to empty the fruit bowl! At this stage I wanted to crawl under the table and die of frustration! Then we had a bit of a hiatus because he was hungry and went looking for something to eat! Mercifully, at that point, his father came home so we could make a graceful exit. Well, not graceful - we sort of fell over ourselves in our haste to get out of the door
! Love the boy!
Have a pleasant evening folks.
