Morning Mick, morning all!

It's dark and cold in North Leicestershire. Pootling and faffing for me today.

Thank you for all the good wishes for Dh yesterday. He had a bleed behind one eye which may or may not involve a problem with the retina and we have to go back next week or sooner if it worsens.

It's still cold here on the south coast. The windscreen was iced up yesterday morning but we have not had any snow. It does feel wintery now after a long and lovely autumn.

I am on countdown until my dental appointment this afternoon and the stomach is churning already. Possibly because I don't really know what she is going to do apart from taking the crown off to reveal what lies beneath and is causing this nagging ache. Hey ho. It will all be over in 8 hours.

Hope the day is a good one for everyone.

Morning kitty. Mr Gaga had exactly the same thing some years ago after an eye test showed blood behind his eye. He had numerous "urgent" tests including an angiogram but they decided to leave it be unless he had a problem. That hasn't happened and it's getting on for 10 years since it happened originally.

Good morning all. Still dark in Northampton, but doesn't feel as cold as yesterday.
Nothing much planned for today, will probably make some more mince pies.

DGS did a preview for a invited audience yesterday at what I thought was just to be a full company rehearsal and has a final dress rehearsal this afternoon.
I am off home later this morning but will be back to babysit for DD and SIL tomorrow night.

DH and I both have fasting blood tests this morning. So after queueing for an hour or more we will go treat ourselves to cooked breakfast at Morrison's.

Good morning all. Still dark but doesn't feel quite as cold in East Northants. Ten pin bowling with U3A this morning, followed by coffee with eldest son. Hope it's a good day for everyone.

Morning all its my birthday today and i have just opened a pile of cards from friends and family, count myself lucky so many people have thought of me. Out for lunch with my daughter today then to the cinema, cant remember what she has booked for us to see, defo a sign i am getting older!!! Hoping all of you with health issues are pain free and get sorted soon and every one else have a great day what ever you are doing.

Good morning everyone from a very grey Essex by the sea. Fasting blood test for me too but not til 10.25, I'm missing my morning cup of tea already. Food shopping afterwards, Waitrose for fish, we nearly always have fish on Friday. Nothing planned for the rest of the day. Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning from a damp, grey Birmingham. I’m off shortly to a memorial service in Oxfordshire. I hope to be home by five-ish so I can go with my daughter and grandson to see the local Christmas lights turned on. I’m driving, which I hate!

Gaga, I had a crown removed recently, it was nothing as horrible as I imagined, just a bit noisy. I had a temporary one in, which was supposed to last until I got my new one, it fell out after half an hour. ?
Glad to hear the better news of Mt Kitty
I'm still feeling pretty rotten, so I'm withdrawing from the world until DGD comes for her sleepover tonight. ? DH has kindly offered to do the supermarket shop!

Morning Mick, morning All from a grey corner of Somerset. Friend arriving to stay today so a need to get organised. I will, soon . Don’t worry gaga in my experience crown removal is quick and painless and I’m an acknowledged dental wimp. All worth it to be rid of the discomfort.
