I am not a Conservative supporter but I do admire Theresa May. I would not have her job for the world. I'm sure she's exhausted. I quite like her fashion too and her chunky necklaces. It suits her. I think she makes an effort. I dont know why she is criticised so much. And everyone made fun of her dancing at conference. Well I think she was very brave and did well. I wish (some) people would give her a break.

Well said, lemongrove, and I agree with you Annie in that she has dignity, though I'm still inclined to think that some of these MP's on all sides would have thought twice about the way they spoke if it had been a male PM they were dealing with. I admire very much how she doesn't rise to the bait - the best defence.

Humpty I suspect one reason is that were the outcome to be 'no deal', the NI question would be unresolvable. A hard border would be inevitable, with all that that implies.
