I am quite surprised how abhorrent people find the idea of a smear of blood on clothing. (Knickers mostly, but I didn't want to say gusset again!)

Yes if someone asks or brings it up. People usually don't ask or bring it up. Very occasionally people do, and I don't lie if asked my opinion. If you are questioning whether or not it is a polite conversation to start you would be better off directing that question at the OP not at me

also if people pop round unannounced and my washable san pro (and Gussets ) are on the washing line I don't scuttle round trying to hide them. I do put them away if I am EXPECTING more formal guests. I don't hide it. Or bring it up.

Its actually a non issue to me until people start telling me what I should and shouldnt do with my own pants, and again: that doesnt tend to happen in real life.

I think if you pop round anywhere unannounced you are likely to see bits and bobs (like freshly laundered pants etc on the line) that you might not see if you went on an arranged visit.

I've seen worse on unplanned visits. (Full cat litter trays: bawk)
