Good morning from a dull and decidedly chilly Birmingham. I woke at 6 and had my early morning cup of tea before my grandson woke at 7, absolutely delighted with the world, as usual. He’s now reading some of the board books I have here- it’s nice tha5 he enjoys books even at thirteen months. I’ll be dropping him off at 10, then doing a bit of shopping before lunch and Tai Chi this afternoon. I hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning everyone . I was supposed to be going to footy with my DS and 2 of his children but not sure my poor back is up to it . Will probably end up listening eagerly on the radio instead .

Have a good day everyone x

Good morning, all. It's grey and damp, here in Nottingham. I've got my 'flu jab soon, then I need to pick up a parcel. Later I'll turn the house upside down again, looking for a lost log book....angry
out this evening, to watch a group play at my favourite pub. I hope you all have a good day.

Good morning, very dull again here in the NE.
Stay at home day so that I can tidy linen cupboards and other essentials.

Good morning All x
It's been so dark/dull here in the NW-Wirral. Mum used to say" the dark days of November", a horrible month.

Nothing planned but must remember to get the meat out of the freezer for tomorrow and soak peas later.
Leaves to brush up outside the front door as they can be a hazard if left and a cake to make later to use up the lemons
Stay safe and well everyone.

Morning Mick, Annie to come, and all. Damp here this morning. Out for usual coffee with friends later, then shopping. DD and SIL are visiting after lunch and I hope to see some pictures of how their new kitchen is coming along.
Reading about cakes, makes me think I should start soaking the fruit for our Christmas cake later.
NanKate I had my (gold) crowns fitted, free, when I was entitled during/ after pregnancy 45 years ago.!!!
(I have told DD that I will leave them to her in my will) smile
Gilly I am sorry to hear that your back is still sore.
Have a good weekend everyone

Lovely bright morning here in Norwich, welcome change after yesterday’s gloom and drizzle! Grandson no.2 is doing his first craft show today(aspiring wood turner) so we are going to support him!

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a very dull and damp South Yorkshire. We have been hosting GS overnight and he is stirring, just! We have him until his ma and pa come to pick him up so I will be making the most of his company until then. Have a good day folks!

Morning all, it's a beautiful sunny day here in the foothills of the Pennines. Dd had just dropped her two dogs off again, she is having new Windows fitted and they are finishing the job off today, hopefully.
Her Dh and Ds are going to Cheshire to visit the other Dgm and Dgd for the day to keep out of the house. Dd is going to the stables and then riding out for the day.
I'm going to tootle round, nothing in particular to do.
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Good morning all.
It is with a very heavy heart but a huge sense of relief that I can say my H is going into full time care next week.
I have read everyones daily plans with a sense of envy as I have not been able to get out and join in things, seeing friends, do my own shopping etc for such a long time,
Amazon and Sainsbury's profits will be taking a dip ?
It is a lovely day here so enjoy it all of you who are out and about.

Good morning all from a dull & wet west Yorkshire! I've been awake since 7 but still in bed reading (everyday enlightenment). I am tackling the wardrobe today for a clear out, the car needs a tidy too. Off to the charity shop & Aldi later.
Have a good day all.

Sending you a hug annsixty ?

Marydoll Sat 17-Nov-18 09:43:54

Oh Anne, how hard for you, but you need also to think of your own physical and emotional wellbeing.
Your DH needs you well. Hugs from me too. flowers

NanKate Sat 17-Nov-18 09:54:07

Anne it is your time now. Try not to feel guilt as you have done the best thing for your DH and also yourself. Do start planning some trips out in readiness for his departure. Just having a coffee and reading book in a nice cafe is so pleasant. I do it a lot. Or a walk in the Autumn sunshine ?

Auntieflo Sat 17-Nov-18 09:54:32

Annsixty, {{{hugs}}} for you. It’s a big decision, but you have done the right thing. Please have a peaceful weekend.

NanKate Sat 17-Nov-18 09:56:56

Maw I love your Crown Jewels comment.

NannyJan53 Sat 17-Nov-18 09:58:41

(((((hugs)))) flowers from me too Anne

Good morning from the edge of west London. I've just been sorting my wardrobe to make more room, relegating summer clothes to the spare room to make more room for dreary winter gear. The sun has now come out so we will be off for our Saturday morning walk in Bushy Park fairly soon, aware that the sunshine hours are brief so I try to make the most of them. The Beast from the East returns next week the forecast tells us sad

Wishing you all an enjoyable day.
